Terms of Use
Effective date: 15 May 2026
Last updated: 18 July 2026
These terms govern your use of Pyro Business ("the Service") - the mobile app and the vendor web portal - operated by Pyro for Agency & Commission Trade Co. (commercial registration 531478), Kuwait ("Pyro"). By installing the app or signing in on behalf of your business, you agree to these terms.
The service
Pyro Business is an invoicing, point-of-sale, and store-management platform. You can ring up sales, record purchases, run repair and service jobs, keep a private customer book, capture signatures, generate signed PDF invoices, send invoices to your customers over WhatsApp, schedule deliveries, manage your team, and see business analytics. It also includes ID capture for verifying a customer's identity at the point of a transaction and a flagged-device registry of items reported as stolen, shared across the vendor network.
It is a strong fit for used-goods, electronics, and repair shops, where identity verification and the flagged-device registry add real protection, but the core works for any retail or trade business.
The Service does NOT:
- Settle invoice amounts between you and your customers. What your customer pays you for the goods or the service happens off-platform (cash, KNET, or card at your shop) - the invoice records what was agreed. The only payments processed online are your subscription, wallet top-ups, and delivery fees, all through UPayment as described below.
- Verify the legal status or ownership of any item or transaction. That responsibility is yours.
- Provide legal advice or guarantee compliance with any specific law or regulation beyond what its features explicitly do.
Eligibility
To use Pyro Business, you must:
- Represent a business operating lawfully in Kuwait.
- Be authorised to act on behalf of that business.
- Provide accurate business and contact information, and keep it up to date.
Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful business transactions.
- Obtain your customers' consent before collecting their personal data, including customer ID details where you record them.
- When you buy used goods, check items against the flagged-device registry where relevant, and report any item you reasonably believe to be stolen.
- Keep your login credentials secure, and remain responsible for everything done by the team members you invite.
- Not misuse, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
Data & privacy
Customer data you capture (contact details, and where you record them, customer IDs and signatures) is stored securely and used only to provide the Service. You are the data controller for your customers' information; Pyro is the data processor acting on your instructions. Devices reported as stolen are shared across the vendor network through the flagged-device registry to protect buyers and sellers. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Invoices & corrections
Finalised invoices are a permanent record. Corrections are made by voiding (a full reversal) or refunding (full or partial, with a reason) - both are logged. While a delivery for an invoice is in progress, voiding and refunding that invoice are locked until the delivery completes or is cancelled. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.
You can send an invoice to your customer as a PDF document over WhatsApp - automatically when the invoice is saved (if you enable auto-send for that invoice type) or manually from the invoice. Sends go to the phone number on the customer record; you are responsible for keeping that number correct and for your customer's agreement to receive documents this way.
Repairs & service invoices
When you take an item in for repair or service, the Service creates a service invoice for the agreed price at intake - payment is captured at your counter when the item is received, and there are no estimates or quotes on the platform.
- Extra charges. If the job needs more work than agreed, you can add an extra charge to the same service invoice. Each added charge is logged and increases the invoice total. Agreeing the extra work with your customer before adding it is your responsibility.
- Cancelling. Voiding a service invoice is the way to cancel a repair - it reverses the invoice and cancels the linked workshop job in one step, and both are logged.
- Repair warranty. You can set a repair warranty period (in days) that is printed on the service invoice. The warranty is a commitment from your shop to your customer; honouring it is between you and them.
- Photos. You may photograph the item at intake. Photos are attached to the job record as evidence of received condition.
- The customer's property. Items taken in for repair remain your customers' property in your care. You are responsible for the item while it is in your shop and for returning it - over the counter or through an optional return delivery (the Delivery terms below apply).
Delivery
On a completed sell or service invoice you can schedule a delivery to your customer:
- The delivery fee is quoted up front in Kuwaiti dinar based on the customer's area (for repairs, a carrier repair-handling surcharge may apply), before you confirm.
- Your customer pays the fee online through a secure UPayment link sent to them over WhatsApp. The delivery is dispatched only after the fee is paid.
- Deliveries are fulfilled by carrier companies and their drivers operating on the platform. You and your customer can follow the delivery status live.
- An unpaid delivery link expires and the delivery is cancelled automatically. You can also cancel a delivery yourself before it is paid. A fee captured after a link has expired or a delivery was cancelled is held for review and refunded.
- Once a delivery is completed, its fee is final.
- You are responsible for handing the carrier the correct goods matching the invoice.
- You can keep several saved pickup locations; the location you choose when scheduling a delivery is where the driver collects the order, and keeping its address and contact phone accurate is your responsibility.
Billing, subscriptions, wallet, and refunds
Pyro Business is sold as a subscription, priced in Kuwaiti dinar (KWD). The plans, their prices, and the billing cycle are shown to you before you subscribe.
- Trial and activation. A new business may start on a trial or a pending-review status. Full access to invoicing and point-of-sale requires an active paid subscription.
- Payment. Subscriptions are paid online through our website using UPayment, a licensed payment processor in Kuwait. Card details are entered with the processor and are never stored by Pyro. The mobile app shows your current subscription status only - it does not take payment.
- Promotions. Coupon codes and plan discounts may be offered at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, a coupon can be redeemed once per business, discounts do not stack, and promotions can be changed or ended at any time.
- Renewal and expiry. Your subscription runs until its renewal date. A successful payment extends it from the later of the current renewal date or the payment date, so you never lose paid days. If your wallet balance covers your plan's price on the renewal date, your subscription renews automatically from your balance and a receipt is emailed to you; cancelling the subscription stops automatic renewal. If a subscription is not renewed before it expires, it is marked expired automatically and creating new invoices is blocked until you renew. Your existing records stay available.
- No refunds. All subscription fees are non-refundable. Once a subscription is purchased or renewed - including early renewals and upgrades - the payment is final and is not refunded in cash, in whole or in part, except where Kuwaiti law requires otherwise. If you believe you were charged in error or your bank reverses a charge, contact support@pyro.com.kw and we will review it.
- Wallet (prepaid credit). You may top up a prepaid wallet balance to fund your subscription and future add-ons. Wallet balance is non-refundable, has no cash value, and cannot be withdrawn or transferred. Top-up amounts are final once paid. Any goodwill we choose to offer is granted as non-refundable wallet credit, never as cash.
- Delivery fees are separate per-delivery charges paid by your customer, as described in the Delivery section.
- Non-payment. Non-payment or a failed renewal may result in suspension of access until the subscription is brought back to active.
Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or put the platform, its users, or the public at risk. You may close your account at any time.
Liability
The Service is provided "as is." Pyro is not liable for disputes between you and your customers, losses arising from inaccurate data entry, the condition or handling of items you take in for repair, or damages arising from misuse of the Service. Delivery issues are handled through support with the carrier concerned.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, and the courts of Kuwait have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available in the app, and continued use after a change means you accept it. Material changes will be communicated through the app.
