I often travel and present in varying different kinds of setups for my career - connected displays, built in projectors, and sometimes I come across a site that has nothing. Thats when it becomes key to have a portable projector in your bag! This model is on the smallest side of enterprise grade professional projectors. This particular model sits at the intersection of brightness, size/weight, and resolution. While 800x600 ius on the small side it works well for me at an extremely high value. This projector is a star both in a fully lit room and with the lights off/lowered. Brightness will blow your image up VERY visible in spite of overhead flourescent lights. I dig the digital/automatic keystoning that adjusts itself as it goes. Build is decent an Epson is a well known name in projectors. I havent had any running or hookup issues with this projector in my time using it. Overall I love this thing and I travel with it in the car all the time. The size is small enough that it doesnt take up too much space. I DO wish at this price point it came with a bag or carrying case. I would recommend this projector to anyone looking for a value projector in the enterprise realm that has outgrown a pico projector. The attached photos show a regular screen being projected on the wall both with the lights on and off.

Im a tech geek. I love gadgets. Thats why I bought this. We dont need another TV/projector. I just wanted it. Overall, its fun and I like it. There are a few considerations to, well, consider however. Positives: speakers are decent, for a projector. Cooling fan noise is manageable. Color reproduction is pretty good. Brightness is okay (it can be viewed with some ambient light, darkness leads to best contrast and colors). Remote is solid and useful. Negatives: the lens on mine is not super clear. There appears to be some smudges on the inside of it. Not sure what thats about and I dont think it effects viewing. Still, Id prefer clear and clean. Lastly, and this is my biggest issue with this projector, you cant adjust the projected screen size by any means other than physically moving it closer to or further away from the screen/wall you are projecting it on. Its almost impossible to get the screen size I want and still be able to use the space of any given room effectively. In my application, this makes it basically impossible to use a projector screen to project to because there is no real way to control the size of the screen. I dont know that youll find the feature to control screen size in this price range however. Interestingly, there is an option in the menu to scale the image however changing the scaling in the menu doesnt seem to do anything to the image. Nothing noticeable to me anyway. Still, overall, this is a fun little unit. My kids love when I let them watch movies on it. Itll also be suitable for backyard movie parties once the weather warms up again.

I bought this because, like others, I didn’t want a potentially cheaper product for $90, and didn’t want to pay a silly amount for occasional use. I just got the thing and wanted to run it through a test right away before I went through trouble of ceiling mounting, etc... For the record, I did try to contact the manufacturer on their site using the Support page... went through trouble of writing it all up, uploaded a photo and hitting SUBMIT did nothing. Just froze and didn’t respond... so I came here, and will at least exchange, if not return the unit. The three missing stars are 1 for each problem, and 1 for defunct service portal. 1- the keystone is NOT +/- 15... more like +5up, -15down This is a problem for high ceiling mounts (upside down) when you want to drop the image to that 10-15 range, which I do. 2- when nothing is on but a blank white screen, I see a blue cloud smeared coloring on the right. The lens is clean, but maybe it’s a smear inside the machine from manufacturing? It is not the source because that doesn’t show up when I use another projector. Looks defective. See my test image. 3- where would I get a spare bulb to be safe and the instructions to change them? 4- speaker is okay but not as loud as people seem to indicate in reviews. Pros: Menus is good, easy, and plentiful Sound modes give impressive 3D depth and separation Back panel has a lot of connection options Seems solid Super well packaged and all accessories Came with all cables to get going. Some additional cons (apart from above): 1- the manual is not too informative, and a PDF isn’t available on their site... I’d like a better manual for all connections, and bulb service info, even if it’s just online. 2- no batteries for the remote... probably might cost them 10 cents, but I had to go find some. Minor, but surprising. I’ll leave an updated better review depending on how the response / exchange is. They also say if you leave a review, they will send you a gift (you choose from three)... they seem substantial. Ill report if I even get the gift.

I am a retired teacher. I left my classroom in 2015. One of my favorites tools that I miss from that classroom was a video projector that hung from the ceiling. It was a name brand projector that no doubt cost over $1000. It had a clear, bright, beautiful picture. I have used other projectors in the past. In fact, I owned one a few years ago. It had an okay picture. However it was not very bright. It was nowhere near a HD picture. Not even close to 720P. I use a cheaper (about $80) projector for a presentation at a Birthday party. It was better than the projector I had owned, but still not great. I then started my search for a new projector in case I was ever asked for a presentation again. The reviews on the Vankyo Leisure 510 LED Projector were very good. However, I was not expecting much. As you can see from my photographs. The picture is bright and clear and downright beautiful. The screen that you are seeing it projected on is a 100 in panoramic screen. I distinctly hope that this projector will last me for years. As for now, I couldnt be happier.

This is my first projector and I am super happy with it! I couldnt expect more. It works very well it has a nice Keystone option which allows you to place your projector not exactly in the center, but also it can be lower than the actual picture. Simply move the Keystone and the picture will look perfect rectangle. Then just focus it and voila - perfect picture. Definitely a very bright projector as I got good picture even with some light in the room. It has a nice cover for the optic, so it protects from dust when unused. This is something I see for a first time on a projector. Also plenty of ports which you can use to connect multiple devices. Another great feature is the USB slots to connect your media directly. The product comes very securely packaged and all the needed cables (HDMI included as well). Good instructions, but you even dont need them since its plug and play. I just opened the box and plugged the HDMI cable to my MAC. Boom great picture on the wall. To be honest I didnt expect to have internal speaker as well which is another big plus as the sound is really good for such device. Everything is perfect and would recommend the product to anyone who looks for such entertainment/office product.

We purchased this product for use in a small boardroom with marginal ambient light from the outside. The image when using the projector for power point is clear for the most part, until you have to adjust the keystone, which make the bottom or top edges blurry depending on the adjustment. The focus wheel is just that, a large ridged wheel which requires a lot of effort to turn, making focus adjustment more difficult than it should be, and not as smooth as levered focus adjustments. Finally, the image quality in the presence of even dim lighting is poor. While the image is clear, it is so dim, that you have to strain to see numbers and figures clearly except in near total darkness. Finally, there is no zoom or expand adjustment, meaning that we have to move the projector closer or further from the screen to increase the image. For the price, this is not a terrible projector, but you definitely get what you pay for. Next go around, we will spend a little more and get a brighter projector.

The saying "You get what you pay for" is true with this product. If you want to purchase this for a kids room or use it to display SD content, you will probably be ok with the quality. I purchased this to replace a dying DLP projector. Both it and the one before it fit image wise on our framed wall. So I hoped that with electronic prices dropped every year that this company could maintain the same level of quality for a cheaper price. Boy was I wrong. If you are planning on watching content in 720p or higher (anything high defination), look elsewhere. Just because it says it can work with HD, doesnt mean the actual image quality is going to be HD. I ended up returning this and going with this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077C5FLJF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I will give credit to Vankyo, when I emailed them about an issue (image size was way too large with no way to shrink it down/broken menu) they sent me a hotifx. But the image quality was just too low for me to be happy with.

Projector arrived packaged very well, and in a nice little carrying case. It boots up pretty quickly, which is nice. The fans arent the most quiet Ive ever heard, but as other reviews state, after a few minutes you dont even notice it. The sound it outputs is actually surprising. No substitute for theater speakers or a sound bar, but if you were going to use this in a small bedroom, for example, they would be plenty. The picture comes in clear and is fairly high def. Definitely not 1080p or 4k, more like 720, but for the price I cant complain. The major draw back for me is that you can only change the screen size by bringing it close to, or further from, the desired picture location. There is no way to physically, or digitally, adjust screen size. The keystone only allows for a 15 degree correction vertically or horizontally. As you can see from the attached images, there is some ambient light coming in from the windows to the right, which isnt negatively affecting the image quality in my opinion. This projector really does do its best work in total darkness, but again, you get what you pay for. All said, this is a pretty snazzy little machine for the price and I would recommend it to anyone looking to put in a nice little budget home theater.

The power plug does not stay in the projector properly. Any time the projector is touched to adjust the focus or level, the power chord falls out of the back. It does not stay in and must be held in place in order for it to work. Furthermore, the second HDMI port does not work. I purchased this machine specifically to be able to plug in our PS4 and the Amazon FireStick at the same time without have to climb up to the projector mount to change chords. The second port doesnt work so we had to purchase an adapter. EXTREMELY disappointed with the manufacturer quality. I will say that the picture quality is remarkable for such a low price, however, it IS NOT worth the hassle of not having the power chord work or switching HDMI chords. Would not recommend.

I thought, what could go wrong, Ill order in the most expensive Chinese PJ, surely it must be good. - Theyre using LUX, not Lumens to advertise brightness. Right away this should be a dead giveaway that its dim. - Out of the box I could not get the image to be perfectly focused side to side, top to bottom, just mostly in the middle. - Even in a dark room the image was dim. - Some of the reviews here actually reference other projector manufacturers, such as Epson. I dont know how they do this, but a bunch of these Chinese projectors are putting in a ton of fake reviews. - I have nothing personally against Chinese goods, but in every category they decide to take on, it takes them several years to catch up to everyone else in quality. They arent there yet. - Either pay around $300 for a good Japanese unit, or just dont bother at this point.
