This product is great! It does what is said it does, the catch is you have to have strong internet connection (>100mbs), specially for live TV. I would have given it 5 stars but the company or the website doesnt have any customer support whatsoever. I had the older version and it worked fine for about 2 yrs but when I changed my internet modem it kept on asking me for username and password, which I couldnt remember, and I couldnt reset the password ( attempted to contact the customer support to no avail) but I figured I buy a new one, this one has a better picture(4k for the most part) than the old virsion and less buffering. I have used it for about a month and its working fine. Saving me about $80/month in cable bill. I recomend this product for live TV, recorded shows, movies etc...

First received the product and was excited to finally cut the cord. After some adjusting there were quite a few channels that we couldnt watch. All local news stations were missing and football is impossible to watch. After purchasing an antenna for some of the local broadcast channels and uploading several apps we still are missing all but 1 football game a week and 2 news stations. Most of the streaming movie apps dont work and its a struggle at times to watch stuff all the way through without lag or being booted off. The system does not stay off and will cut back on in the middle of the night and cut back on the TV. We resorted to unplugging it. Wifi keeps a low signal at all times even when its 5 ft from my router with no walls to intervene. Reading reviews of bad customer service and tech support I dont have time to wait days or weeks to contact them regarding these issues. Especially for the high price I needed to use my small window I had left to return it. I was excited about this box but it failed us miserably.

I have to admit I gave this box 4 stars instead of 5 because I have also noticed whenever I am done watching movies, sports, television shows or playing games and power off the box, 10 or 15 minutes later the box has magically powered back on. I have purchased 4 of XBMC marts other black android boxes for other rooms in our house and have never witnessed this problem with any of them. This is an updated version so I thought I would give this one a go and I have to admit I like it a lot. This box will entertain provided that you do you own research and add what you want to it if you will. Honestly from an entertainment point of view, if you are not tech savvy then whatever is installed is what you will enjoy. This box can only be as Smart as what is installed, however find the right kind of tech person and this box will be absolutely the best investment you will ever make. My only issue is the powering off and remaining off until I am ready to engage in viewing again at later dates. I also have unplugged the unit to keep it completely off. If there is some way to fix this power off problem, I am willing to give my review a 5 star update.

Worked great at 1st. Now it wont update or play HD channels. I get most channels but wish I had more like originally!

I like it when it works so I can watch my favorite shows but most of the time it doesnt work I have contacted customer service but they have yet to rely I thinking about returning the box sorry but I must be honest

Doesn’t play movies majority of the time and I end up switching back to my old box.. I even replaced my first one by returning it and now this one sucks too

The 1’st generation of this was so much better and easier to use not to mention $100.00 roughly cheaper !
