Sony BDP-S6500 Multi Region Blu-ray DVD Region Free Player 110-240 Volts

I am so happy to have a universal world 4K Blu-ray player! Now I can buy movies from anywhere and not have to worry about them not playing. As a film enthusiast and collector I have occasionally noticed that a title I wanted was only available from another region and would not play on USA players. So far so good! This product plays DVDs and Blu rays well, but thats about the only positive thing I can say. The Netflix app sucks. Its stuttering all the time and despite software upgrades this isnt fixed. Also sometimes the player freezes and restarts. Terrible product Sony!

Controls a bit confusing, but an amazing unit. Plays 3 BD regions and all DVD regions and all CD formats. Even plays .mkv and probably other formats I havent tried yet!

Awesome video quality, love the region free for UK videos which are a lot cheaper even with shipping than US versions.

Plays Regions 1and 2 just fine. I dont have videos from other regions so I cant comment on those. It is nice not to have to switch codes or buy a separate player.

Excellent quality, very easy to set up and very compact size. Perfect package. It works with the full collection of multi region DVDs I have and give the 4K picture quality to match with my TV capability

This player stopped playing blue-rays after a few months due to region code issues. Now it wont turn on unless I unplug it first. No way to initiate a return with Amazon or contact the seller

> I bought Sony BlueRay Player BDP S6500, but the box is indicated that BDP S6700. It wasn’t the model that I want. And the box is damaged. The body is not complete. It doesn’t work. > It seems someone opened. After I tried to open it. My blue ray disc was stucked inside and couldn’t go out. I tried to open it more than 2 hours. So I could open and tried to put another one. Unfortunately , it stucked again. So right now it can’t be closed. I’m very disappointed about this problem. I paid the higher price but buyer sends me the cheaper one. Finally amazon tell my to return and refund my money back. I did. Product arrived to the seller on May 10, but Now I don’t GET any my refund..
