I got the 8gig option, what a difference from the 4gig that I had. My son can do his school work, which streams, while doing other things on the computer without it freezing.

The sound quality is very, very poor on this. I thought if I bought an HP it would be a quality laptop. Its slow, but the real problem is the sound is so low youre wasting your time trying to watch a movie or anything. Its going straight back.

This same laptop was at on sale at Walmart for a hundred buck less, but it only had 4 Gs of ram. The seller put tape over the model number, so you could not see it. The start up instructions showed that this unit had a DVD, but there is no DVD. The battery only last about 4 hrs. I use this laptop to read the e-paper in the morning.

Was a little confusing in ad about amount of ram. Says 4 to 8 gigs. When it arrived it said it had 4 gigs on the box but once I got it up and running the system settings say it has 8. Happy with it so far my wife is playing WOW on it with her friend right now

The laptop did come in box saying 4gb but taking a look at specifications its 8gb. I thought it was a 2.4Gh but seems to only be a 1.25Gh and the description says up to(rechecked after delivered) . Its a little slow but not horrible. I will test it out and make sure I can use it a few more days.
