Sony E 55-210mm F4.5-6.3 Lens for Sony E-Mount Cameras (Black) - International Version (No Warranty)

After reading quite a few positive reviews, I felt I had to give this lens a try. I purchased it right before going to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks for the first time. I figured even if the quality was mediocre, I could get some good snapshots to remember the trip. Like many others have stated, this is a fantastic product for the price that will allow a lot of flexibility in outdoor/nature/landscape photography. The obvious flaw is low-light performance, but proper ISO and the OSS help to take clear images in darker situations. I couldn’t recommend it enough if you will be using it for normal lighting conditions and landscapes

Very Good Lens!!! I used it for pictures of stars in the night sky. M31 Andromeda Galaxy, NGC 869/884 Double Cluster, M45 Pleiades Cluster / Hyades Cluster, M42 Orion Nebula, Moon and Others... (Sony A6000 + Star Adventurer Astro + Tripod + Remote Shutter + This Len.) I am very satisfied. Recommend this lens.

This is a fun lens to use on the Sony A6300 or A6000. The image quality varies. It does not equal the $1000 dollar - 70-300mm full frame Sony lens I also own. But it is not a professional level lens so my expectations were to high for a lens that costs under $200.

Beautiful lens for a sony mirrorless camera. It is a must have lens to accompany the kit lens. Nicely build quality (less plasticky than say Nikon kit lenses), quiet motor, it has optical stabilization, creates beautiful bokeh, great for nature photography, portraitures, sports photography etc, excellent value for money. Weighs about 1lb maybe, comes with the lens caps (both ends) and a lens hood

I admit to be a little surprised when I got this - I ordered the black version to match my black camera (and it was a tiny but less expensive) and expected to get a plain white box, but it came in a brand new, sealed by Sony, packaging with instructions all as if I purchased it off the shelf. 5 minutes out of the box and its working and looking good. Ill update if things change, but recommended if youre interested in this lens.

This is a pretty nice lens but I dont feel like it zooms enough or is sharp enough to be very useful for shooting moving or skittish animals / objects. Its hard to get close enough to fill the frame with the subject and I found the focus very soft at bigger apertures.

Takes great picture at lest to our standards we are just family photographers, we purchase this lens to take pics of our sons swimming event as the swim for their school and sometimes we have to sit way up in the stands and the pics in sport mode that this camera Sony a6000 takes is breath taking, the lens works faultlessly, so it meets are needs, Im sure eventually well get more expensive equip but for now this combination work awesome

Not as sharp as I hoped but not a bad lens. In retrospect would have read more reviews and probably opted for a sharper lens. It does the job and allows me to get shots I couldnt get from the kit lens. Definitely miss the power zoom from my kit lens but maybe itll make me a better photographer. Focus ring is smooth and gives a decent range. Was anxious about getting the international version but it works just fine. Definitely a big lens but expected given its range.
