Install Flash Player This light ring is amazing. No words can describe how perfect for me it is. I personally sale clothing items online and this equipment will help to improve my sales and boost the visual effect of the colors. It has helped me to show my customers how true the colors are on camera. And improving the way I look as well. The light is adjustable by a simple knob, and has numerous setting for tones as well. I have tryed many lights and failed at them helping , but I scored this time. I love the adjustable height and that I can even angle the light ring itself down or up. My phone attached to the phone holder it came with but it’s awesome that I was able to still attach the current one I had as well. I will never use any light ring again because this one will last forever since all you have to do if it burns out is simply change the fuse which it came with a extra as well. And easy storage with a carrying case , when put inside it’s all light weight easy for travel as well. All in all this is a much needed item for anyone who uses light rings .

This light was used three times and quit working. Some previous reviews had the same issue but I decided to risk it. Wish I had not. At this point I have no recourse and am stuck purchasing a new light.

Likes: Speed of delivery <72hours. Light temperature and brightness settings. Intuitive and easy to use. Set up and disassemble time < 3minutes (light and tripod only). Ability to adjust to various heights. Dislikes: Cheap and difficult to use camera mounting system. This thread on the mounting system appears to be made of aluminium (easy to cross thread). In order to place a DSLR on to the mount you have to spin the whole camera, which risks cross threading both my camera and the mounting screw. Possible solution is to incorporate a mounting plate similar to a tripod.

This ring light is awesome. I got the 18inch one and its huge. The stand is the same standard ring light stand, fairly sturdy and light weight. Its height wise adjustable. I do love the fact that the power cord is long enough that the brick itself can lay on the floor and not be tugging on the spot where the cord plugs into the light, my other two ring lights both have the heavy power brick dangling. You can adjust the brightness as well as the tone of the light which can go orange to daylight white and any mix in between. Also come with a clip to attach your phone in the middle or one of those tiny screws so you can screw on a webcam or camera. Its pretty light weight and very bright, overall very happy with it!

I bought this ring light to improve my video quality. While it helped fill in the light, when I chose a setting that I am happy with (light brightness and tone is adjustable), and I start recording myself, the light flickers and the color tone for some reason doesnt remain steady. For example, I like setting the color to cool daylight with the brightness almost at max. Then when I start recording my session, the light flickers and turns warm and then back to cool but not as cool as I originally had set it to. This is of course all discovered after I playback my recording 1 hour later. Argh! Ive no idea why it doesnt this. Otherwise, the product is satisfactory on some level. The carrying bag will not fit the tripod so that is something you would need to carry separately. And the carrying back is just a big open compartment. There are no internal pockets for storing your adapter and extension cords (I need to use this with an extension as the cord itself is not very long. I think about 6ft?) , and other accessories. Picture putting everything in the storage bag and getting toss around and possible scratching up the ring light itself. Not an ideal situation. So then you end up storing the cords and accessories in a separate bag or pouch of some kind, now making it 3 things you need to tote along with you: Ring light bag with ring light inside, tripod, and bag or pouch for cords and other pieces. Its a good thing the product is a lot more lightweight than a softbox set. Very easy to set up but definitely had its flaws. I think it is overpriced for the quality you get. One more thing: When I play back my recording, there is a buzzing noise. This never happened before I bought this ring light, but Im guessing the light flickering issue is causing a faint buzzing background noise seeing as my video recorder is attached to the ring light. It bothered me because I had to re-record my entire session and same noise appeared.
