I am happy with the size and capabilities of this ring light and the stand is adjustable and works just right. The cable fits into the wall socket well, but the end which connects to the lighting unit is not secure. It doesnt feel like it will stay and falls out easily. I will have to contact the manufacturer or seller to see if something can be done about this. I feel this is an affordable product, but if the cable is faulty it is not worth the investment at any price. I am adding to this review after having my husband looked at the cable and forced it into place. I think it may have needed a slight adjustment to begin with because now it works well. It is secure and does not fall out. It just takes a bit of pressure to get it into place. Im raising the rating from three stars up to four stars.

Above from using this as an awesome selfie/video light, there is one use that everyone is missing. As LED lighting is getting inexpensive and available nowadays, this light can be used as a backlight or front light in day/night photography. Plugged in to my AC power to go, one advantage is the control of the light output and the color. I tried using it outdoor as a fill light and with the light being adjustable to your taste; I can already see the outcome of the picture before even taking the shot. I’m a professional photographer and I have used flash for more than 20 years and I’m going to say LED lighting is the next generation of photography lights. And this is one of those “doesn’t break the bank but works” types of deal. With it being a set that comes with a tripod, cell phone mount and a ac plug, is a steal.

Install Flash Player I spent a LOT of time window shopping for the best ring light option on Amazon. THIS ONE IS IT. It was safely packed, and comes with a nice carrying bag. The Ring Light set comes with a very study stand with adjustable height, making it very suitable for a main light or a fill light. It also comes with a flexible extender bracket which may be used to extend the height of the light stand. A hot shoe stand (provided) can be mounted on the lamp’s hot shoe receptacle, allowing me to attach my DSLR camera on it or my smart phone using the phone clip centered at the Ring Light. The Ring Light features a control for Color Temperature adjustment (3200K to 5600K) ranging from Soft (or Warm) White to Daylight lighting environment. What I also find very useful is a second control to adjust the light Intensity which together with the Color Temperature control, allows me to create almost any lighting conditions - from cozy intimate to bright vibrant and crisp invigorating ambience.

Watch the video for more info, but this is an AMAZING light. 1000% worth every cent. Also, the packaging came nice as well. no damage. Might need another one for even lighting when not using the center mount.

This is not the first ESDDI product and I am guessing wont be the last. I already own a tripod (love it) and flash for my Canon (love it). I own a digital marketing agency and we need to do shoots indoors sometimes and some applications dont work well with the camera flash. For example, we shoot video with an iPhone and even sometimes just use the iPhone for the photos. So this looked like it could be the answer. And it was. Most of the time you will want to use the stand and keep everything stable, but you can even just hold the light in your hand and move it around to light up areas or people. So back to us, this is like having huge studio lights on the subject without having the expense and setup. As you can see from my photos, everything comes in one box, easy to unpack and easty to put away. The lighting is very simple, turn on and then two knobs - brightness and then color of light. We are already getting amazing images and video. The difference is that we have never bever so easily been able to adjust the light color to see the different effect it will have and then choose and adjust. Thanks ESDDI for another great product!!

This product is great! I bought it for my wife’s weekly vlog. Once I used it, all her viewer left commend saying that her video looks way more professional than before. (I used only floor lamp with white light bulb for lighting before, not a good idea though...) If you are into photo shooting or video shooting, you must invest on some lighting equipment like this, it will improve your work tremendously. And the white circle in your pupil also makes you look prettier/cooler/more professional than before. This product is very easy to set up and operate, it has two controls to adjust the lumens and color temperature. I’ve seen other big brands, they give you extra yellow and white color filters to adjust the color temperature. Don’t buy that!!!! Not only they can’t adjsut color temperature by control, you have to carry extra items to install. Not to mention if you lose one piece and the whole thing will become useless! Please make sure you are buying the ring light that can adjust color temperature and lumens(means how strong the light is). Another good thing about this product is that it comes with a travel bag, you can fit everything into the travel bag, including the light stand and carry around easily, it’s very convenient. What an amazing product! I was searching Amazon for a while now for a great light, especially a Halo one. I have been in the film industry for about 3 years now and a base light can be the most important thing when it comes to a quality video. The thing that I really like about this Halo light is the size of the item. It covers a huge area of light with nice soft light so there are no harsh shadows to deal with in post production. The second thing I love about this light is the ability to change the color of light. Instead of just being white and harsh, you can change the light color to a nice orange/ brown color for your subject! This is useful to set the mood for many different scenes. I would definitely recommend this light to my friends and fellow film makers that are trying to look for a great base light on either pictures or videos!

I have searched many online as well as offline stores, but When I came to Amazon, this had a little number of reviews. As per the pictures, it won my heart, at first sight, So I decided to purchase this one. It came to be the best choice ive made. This light is everything I expected and more. I am really impressed with this great light, very easy to adjust white balance without having to change filters. This is very useful for great selfies and for Vlogging. I guess most will be shocked by how inexpensive this is and usually people are surprised of its better quality. I have to say this is all in all sturdy stand with adjustable height. This can easily be main light or a fill light. This is very powerful enough to reduce ISO from a few 1000 to less than 200. Picture noise is also significantly reduced. It also comes with a flexible extender bracket which may be used to extend the height of the light stand. It is also easy to setup, and has multiple levels in temperature and power settings to meet different demand.
