Canon EOS 80D DSLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 is STM Lens w/Complete Photo & Travel Bundle - Includes: Altura Photo Backpack, SanDisk 64gb SD Card, Monopod, Filter Kit and Neck Strap

Purchased this camera in March 2017 and during a photoshoot in August the AF system stopped working. When using either Back Button Focus or Shutter button to focus the camera struggled to lock in AF and when it did lock in to focus the AF point was obviously blurry, upon depressing the shutter button the camera completely shut off. I was using a Tamron 24-70mm and I read in an online article after the fact that this 80D is a little slower to focus using third party lenses such as my Tamron. Also the reviewer that wrote the article stated that using Live View mode with a Tamron 24-70mm lens caused the camera to shut off, much like what happened to me. I talked to Canon about the issue and they had me send it off. I am still waiting to hear back. I wish I had known about the issue of compatability with third party lenses before I purchased this camera. I will try to update as to how Canon resolves my issue, its a bummer being without my camera in the meantime.

Initial impression, very nice camera. Ive gone through several of the features and I am pleased with the results, thus far. Canon finally entered their CMOS camera squarely into the fight - (24mp, additional focus points, headphone jack). It delivers sharp pictures, quality videos, quick focus and image tracking. Digital Gojas included accessories are basic, but functional grab and go pieces. I bought a $25 tripod head for their included monopod and made it a useful backup tool. The table top tripod is solid. With the additional SD cards, shoulder sling and camera remote...its decent enough to throw in the secondary gear bag.

Hey Guys! This is great package! Comes with many durable items. The camera is great and sturdy. Built in Japan so its not a scam.... Always check your camera to make sure it is built in the right country. I am a Vermont... Im 15 years old and this package is everything you need. The mono pod is so heavy duty and the carry case is perfect. The camera bag I thought you be crappy, but it turned out really well and nicely built. Plus awesome purple interior. I bought this camera to replace my 70d. It has a lot more bells and whistles which I trust will improve the quality of my images. The delivery from Digital Goja was prompt and in excellent condition. I love this camera so much!! I was a little skeptical and wasnt sure if it would take the quality pictures I wanted it to compared to more expensive cameras, but it does an AWESOME job! I love all the photos Ive gotten and as a photographer I would highly recommend this camera! Easy to use and great for videos too!

I am really enjoying all the extras I got in this bundle as opposed to just getting the camera body only (for the same price!). The bag is very high quality and fits everything I need. The only thing I do not like about it is the way it cuts across my chest. As a woman these slings type bags can be a bit uncomfortable. I probably wont use the neck strap as it is really wide and I prefer something softer and more comfortable. It is very well made though and even has a zipper pocket with slots for SD cards. Overall I am really loving this camera, but I have always purchased and used Canon cameras so thats not surprising. The touch/tilt screen is a pretty awesome upgrade from my last camera.

As a whole, I would give this bundle all 5 stars and definitely recommend getting it. REVIEW OF EVERYTHING Camera: You cant go wrong with Canon 80D. Rode Mic: Ive had one of these before and its​ still one of the best budget mics on the market Travel Bag: Its small and compact -Its got all the compartments you need for a quick trip OR if you know what you doing on a simple shoot. But I think there should be more padding on the exterior. The Monopod: the locks are plastic and they jam. Personally, Im not going to use it BUT if youre starting out this is a pretty good product. Pistol Grip: also plastic BUT is very compact and super easy to carry around. I would recommend using it with a smartphone attachment. Besides the camera, this is my favorite thing in the package. Everything else works as expected. Its cool that they give you the two 32GB SD cards too!

I purchased this camera about a month ago. I love to take pictures, though Ive never owned a camera this nice before. Im careful with money, so it took me about a year to finally take the plunge. Its big and has enough features to make it a little bit intimidating, but after about a month of playing with it (and watching many YouTube videos), I think Ive figured out most of functions. The Canon EOS 80D has superb scene controls. The bokeh (with right lense) is excellent. Nightshots are a snap. When I made the purchase, I also bought the Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4 lens and the Tamron 18-400mm f/3.5-6.3 lens. Of the two, I prefer the Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4. The Tamron isnt as sharp as Id like it to be when used in the full telephoto mode. Two things with this camera: 1. The battery went dead twice when I needed it. That may be my fault (I left the camera on with it in the live view mode. 2. It is big. No problem, but I am undecided about a carry case for it. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

This is not a review of the EOS 80D, since there are plenty of them elsewhere, and I am merely a hobbyist. I have a collection of Canon lenses and accessories, so looked into upgrading to the 80D. The body only price was only $50 less than this awesome package. For my $50 extra, I got the 18-55mm lens with the Image Stabilization I didnt have on my older lens. PLUS a fast memory card, quality filters, a great strap, plus a bunch of miscellaneous stuff. Some is redundant to me, but none of it is junk. There are other package deals on Amazon, but this one was the best I could find. The only thing that would improve it is a spare battery.
