If youre looking for super cheap pixels - youve found it. It does a good job at being large and vibrant - not to mention absurdly light weight (the box+packing material weighs more... I am serious). The tradeoff is sound. The stock speakers (rear mounted) are woefully underpowered and need to be cranked up to over half just to get *any* audio out. If you are using these for any form of entertainment, youre going to want to run the rca outs to a decent receiver (even then... it still seemed very weak on the output side). for 140ish, its a good picture -- so plan accordingly for what you need this thing to do.

I have been wanting to upgrade my 6-year-old HDTV for at least two years now. The old tv was only a 19". I have wanted a good big screen tv to watch things in great detail and be able to read all onscreen text. With the 19", I even had trouble reading the leaderboard during golf tournaments and car races. I love this 40" tv! Everything is so clear and crisp. I can even read fine print in commercials that I didnt know existed before. Hell, I am even seeing elements of movies I already know backwards and forwards, like the Star Wars and Star Trek movies, that I never saw before! In the settings menu is an excellent equalizer to adjust the audio as needed, as well as one for color/brightness. I can even set the color of the closed captioning text to whatever I want. This Spectre 40" HDTV is just perfect for me! Just what I wanted.

Was excited for this TV but as soon as I plugged it in there was orange static all over the screen. Makes actually enjoying anything on it pretty much impossible. Worst part is Ill have to ship it all the way back for replacement. Really disappointed.

Tv has a great picture. Sound is expected to be bad on a flat screeen but this one is absolutely horrible. if you’re planning on using a sound bar that shouldn’t matter much. After about a month I noticed whenever I switched HDMI inputs the picture would become extremely jumpy, the sound was static like and tv impossible to watch. I purchased the Asurion 4 yr. protection plan but they wouldn’t help and referred me back to the manufacturer saying it was still covered by them. Why buy the plan if theyre not going to honor it? The manufacturer said I could ship it to California and they’d repair and return. Right now I’m debating what to do because if I ship it I’m without a TV for 2-3 weeks at the very least. I regret the purchase. I guess there’s a reason the price is so low.

I like it .. so good , picture looks good. But not as clear as I thought. But it is only a LED t.v. at the price its amost a steal. Cant beat that! The sound not bad at all. Very loud to me . I usually have my TV Turned down any way. I purchase this TV because the price . U have to see for yourself , not based on every bad reviews .But if u go in your settings to adjust your picture color its beautiful. But not like OLED .u cant go wrong because u have a warranty. & Option to buy additional warranty .N not like u can send it back for a refund. I had my t.v over a month so far its great. Anyhow Im sure youll love it at a great price!! .it came 2 days early before hurricane Michael (storm) came in lol. Thank God , It looks larger than a 40" Im happy with my purchase probably get another before price increase. So I highly recommend this T.V. !!
