I ordered this television on December 8 and received it about 5 or 5 days later. I set it up and enjoyed it. Saturday morning - March 9, 2019 - I turned it on and went to grab something to eat. When I returned, there was no picture, only sound. I unplugged it for a while and plugged it back up, still no picture. I then went online to see what was the issue, and I read that something that controls the backlight may have malfunctioned. Look, I know that the television was a bargain at that price, but I expected it to last much longer than 3 months. I wont even discuss any type of warranty because there may not be one. UPDATE: I contacted the seller a day or two after the television went "no picture, and I didnt receive any response. I then contacted Amazon about a week later and they contacted the seller. The seller THEN contacted me stating that the "window for a refund had expired on March 16." Thats odd because when the window TO receive a refund was stiip OPEN, I heard nothing from them. Amazon filed a claim for this deceptive act by the seller and Im awaiting their decision. I dont know about anyone else, but I thought that televisions were supposed to last more than three months. I bought the SAME television from another seller about 3 months prior to purchasing this one and it still works. Thats what made me go and order another one. But this time I found one from this seller at a cheaper price. I should have gone with the first seller.
