LG Electronics 32LK540BPUA 32-Inch 720p Smart LED TV (2018 Model)

My first new television in 22 years. What a shock to see such a clear picture, not to mention it comes on right away when you hit the power button. I am amazed at the quality and clarity. I am now watching all the movies I watched before but now with more depth to them.

Quality unit, good size, sound and picture quality. Needed space for display, storage and usage very helpful. I would purchase this unit again.

This TV doesnt do most of what I need it to do. It doesnt actually work with Alexa, which I discovered after downloading multiple apps, creating 2 different accounts with LG, and giving away reams of personal information. I understand that I could buy another device which would make voice control possible, but Im cheesed off that I have to. Secondly, the Phillips audio output jacks dont work, so I cant use headphones without, you guessed it, buying another device. The best I can say about this TV is that it handles streaming video adequately--but then, so does my old 27-inch iMac, which has a working headphone jack. Lots of buyers remorse here--for the Echo Dot I bought, too. Update: I broke down and bought a digital to analog converter that has a headphone jack, and THAT didnt work either, suggesting a bad optical output. Since thats now two malfunctioning outputs, I assume its a defect in my unit, rather than a design flaw. Still, the TV is going back, and I think Ill hold off buying another until Im ready to spend more.

Great looking smart TV with all the apps and services that come with that - Netflix, Amazon Video, etc. Great picture too - although I have no idea how durable it is because Ive only had it a month

PACKING V GOOD DELIVERED ON TIME ON SCREEN SET UP SKIPS A BEAT IN THAT THERE IS NO PROMPT TO SELECT THE INPUT SUCH AS HDMI1/2 CABLE TV ETC THE MANUAL DOES NOT COVER IT AT ALL FOR A NOVICE THIS IS NOT AN EASY SET UP I WAS ABLE TO NAVIGATE THE CONTROLS AND SET THE INPUT AND THEN IT WAS EASY TO INITIATE PICTURE IS EXCELLENT BIG IMPROVEMENT OVER THE TV IT REPLACED WHICH IS 4 YRS OLD

This is an update from my review on turns on by its self. I found deep into the settings, not mentioned in the manual I might add. There is an electronic switch that when turned on will allow the TV to be powered up by other systems including cell phones. I disabled this feature and the TV no longer turns on at odd times my unknown means.
