Smartphone Projector Vamvo Mini Portable Video Projector 1080P Support 1800 lumens 130" Screen USB/AV/SD/HDMI/VGA Input

I got my new projector this week. It is packed with every feature I want in a projector and it was a great price at under $100.00. This projector has a bunch of source inputs. It will hook to my Blu-Ray player, my phone, my tablet, my PC or my laptop. The projector also has a connector allowing RCA video and audio input so it can connect any other video source I can think of. Audio out is a stereo din connector the easily hooks into the AUX port of my portable stereo system but I can hook it to a sound bar or other audio amp if I want to in the future. Sound quality through my amp is great! The projector has a remote control and very intuitive menu system. It was a 15 minute setup time for me, and that was mainly playing with things to get the perfect size picture on the screen and finding the right speaker positions. A threaded socket in the bottom of the projector allows me to mount the projector on my tripod. By using a tripod, I can easily adjust the height and tilt of the projector to align the picture on the screen perfectly. The threaded socket is a US standard size. It is a perfect fit for my tripod that I purchased about 35-40 years ago. It appears to me that the projector should fit on any standard tripod without a problem. This projector has built in speakers, however, I will only be using the built in speakers if I ever have an indoor showing or presentation where the room is quiet. I am sure they are nice for that, but for an outdoor showing, with cars driving by, crickets, wind, etc, I want some power. I purchased this projector because the wife and I wanted to do movies nights in the back yard for the family, friends and kids. This was perfect!! I purchased a 100" projection screen. I hooked the projector to a portable sound system I already owned. I hooked up a Blu-Ray player I already owned and within 15 minutes I was ready. Everyone loved it and it was a great get together. Picture quality was surprisingly good. I say surprisingly because I was a little worried that because I cheaped out on the price, it would be too dark, but the picture is actually great! It is a nice bright picture. The easy to use adjustment for focus on the front of the projector allows me to have a sharp crystal clear picture and the color is dead on. Watching movies in the backyard reminds me of the outdoor theater days. (Okay, Im old...so what!) All in all, I am very happy with this projector so far. The first get together in my yard went very well and I envision many "movie nights" to come.

I purchased this projector because I love watching movies. It is easy to setup and understand. Buttons are responsive as well as the remote. It is lightweight and so handy and easy to carry. It gives great picture and brighter images that meets my expectations. The built-in speaker is amazing too, that provide clear sounds while watching , doesnt need to use or attach any speaker if you just gonna watch it for a small room. Screen mirroring is wonderful, is easy to follow, instructions can be seen once you choose the multiple screen option. my eyes so tired watching from a small screen like my phone, so the mirroring features so great. I have iphonex and got ezcast dongle to make it work make it work perfectly. You can also just simply use lighting to hdmi to directly make it work using iphone. Make sure you get one the is high speed connector cable for better results.

EDIT: Customer support through the Vamvo website can process an RMA for this product. I already returned it though. The product failed after three months. Prior, it was a nice projector I could use to watch videos in my bedroom. It flashes between bright white and a distorted version of the picture.

Performance is not bad. Enjoy using to play video for unprofessional occasion.

Amazing projector, amazing customer service from the seller! I purchased this device to view slideshows using my I phone 7 and for watching movies on the "big screen" . It has exceeded every expectation I ever had for a projector at this affordable price point. The image and sound quality is excellent. I had one very minor issue connecting with my I phone. I contacted the seller about it...never actually expecting to receive much of a reply to help solve the issue, but to my pleasant surprise and amazement, the seller responded VERY QUICKLY and solved the problem quickly and in a really professional manner. I would not hesitate to buy again!

I got this projector to setup a late night karaoke party at my friend’s restaurant after close. They don’t have a TV at the restaurant, and I didn’t want to lug my TV around. This projector offers the best balance between quality, flexibility and affordability. On quality, I was initially worried about the low native resolution. I have saw commentaries that says the picture sharpness is fine even though its native resolution was not full HD. After I fed it 1080p sources, it turns out to be plenty sharp. It’s clear enough for Netflix, let alone karaoke video. Text are clear and I didn’t feel inadequate for it’s need. In fact, I think it’s looked better than the native resolution would suggest. This is a plus. On flexibility, the projector is small, light and all it need is a power plug. I use an Android box for playback and a Bluetooth transceiver to pipe sound to the receiver. So it doesn’t really matter where I setup the projector. There is keystone adjustment if I am projecting onto a high wall. There is no zoom, so that is a little limiting, but at least it’s light weight so easy to move the stand with it. It comes with two adjustable legs, so it helps when setting on an uneven surface. Overall, setup is easy. Lastly, affordability! It served its purpose at a price that I don’t feel like I have to baby this thing. I am not making money on my karaoke setup, so easy and affordable is key. This projector fit the bill. Overall, very satisfied with the purchase!

The picture quality and sound quality werent actually that bad for such an inexpensive projector. However, we only had the projector a few weeks and then it wouldnt turn on. Worked fine one day and then the next day it simply wouldnt turn on. It was covered under warrenty so the company replaced it. Weve only had the replacement projector for three weeks and guess what, it wont turn on!! Worked perfectly fine yesterday and today it will not turn on!! Waiting to hear back from the company but Im not interested in a replacement every month. Obviously not a good product. This time, I want a refund!!

Okay so here is my review of this projector. Upon opening I realized that it had a nice sturdy structure. Doesn’t feel cheap like others do. It’s not heavy or anything but it’s not cheaply made with plastic materials all over. Looks aren’t bad. Very sleek. Not something I’d be ashamed to pull out. At first I thought the picture quality was bad but upon calibrating it, it seemed pretty awesome for a sub 200 dollar projector. Pretty bright. I watched a few YouTube videos and then I watched some movies on Netflix with this. Then i opened up pubg, and let’s just say.. Wow, that’s something else. Very clear and bright so I was able to play very easily games on it. Cons: of course it’s not as bright as actual high end 4K projectors but I say for its price point it makes a very good portable one.

I was comparing this to other projectors that were more expensive thinking you get what you pay for. So I took a chance and decided to get this anyways since it was only $99. Im SO glad I did. It came with a nice matte box and the packaging inside was awesome. Whoever packed this definitely wants to make sure your items doesnt get damaged while being transported. The pictures are really clear and I agree the sound isnt as loud, but nothing speakers cant fix. I also like how its not big and bulky so its perfect for taking this with you on road trips and traveling. I just use my wall so I dont need to go out of my way to buy a projector screen. And I love how you could use your phone with this. This is a really great projector for the price. Would definitely recommend!

When it first arrived and I opened the box everything was great except one tiny detail. I live in the US. The power cable was for the EU. So I couldnt try it out. I messaged the company and was very quickly acknowledged and they sent me a tracking number for a proper cord. Tremendous customer service. I also got my hands on an adapter and was able to use it. Worked great. Internal speaker was very loud and clear. Great image. Thanks for a wonderful product.
