So far so good! Bought this for my home because sometimes I work from home instead of the office. My work laptop is a PC and my personal laptop is a MacBook Pro... this monitor works wonderful with both! I also love the white color, very sleek and feminine... perfect to match my office decor. The display is clear and the monitor is lightweight. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good monitor on a budget. Speakers aren’t very great, but I don’t need to use them much anyway so it’s OK.

Ive been using this as a primary monitor for programming for about 3 months. It functions great for gaming at night and doesnt strain my eyes after minimum 8 hours of viewing per workday. I give it only 3 stars because I wouldnt even call the built-in speakers speakers. They may as well not even exist, you wont hear anything at all. I drive this monitor with an Asus ROG gaming laptop and I use the speakers on the laptop so that I can actually hear _something_, and yes, I found the volume settings in the menu for this monitor and turned it to "100". I would recommend it if you have other speakers, but the claim in the item description; "Stereo 2W speakers provide spacious sound while eliminating the need for external speakers" Is blatantly untrue.

I spend a lot of time in front of my monitors for work, this monitor has greatly reduced my migraines, the picture quality is very nice. The only complaint I have is it is no longer compatible with my MACbook Pro, I get warning messages almost daily and cannot seem to find an update online. However, I have not noticed a change in the picture quality. I recommend this product.

Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. The gaming resolution on it is great, the picture quality is superb and I am glad that I made the purchase. The only downfall I have with this monitor is that the sound, like many other customers have been complaining about is subpar. It sounds like the sound coming from it is very far away at the highest level. There is no place to plug in a headset on the monitor, which is unfortunate when the computer itself sits too far at a distance to plug a headset into. But, other than the sound Im very happy with the purchase. Hopefully Asus will work on that on the next model.

I ordered the Asus Eye care 23" monitor because I have a condition called intracranial hypertension. I have disabling migraines. I am hoping this monitor helps with eye swelling and doesnt trigger migraines as bad as other monitors. They shipped fast, I ordered two, and were packaged together in a large box. They are super thin and beautiful. Easy to set up. You need a display port to admit cord if you are getting two to use as dual monitors. The screen is beautiful, clear, and I like the sound. I think it has excellent sound for a monitor.

I like the look and size of this white, 23" monitor. It is sleek and stylish. I assumed being an IPS model would make it brighter. I set it up in my office which has two large windows and is bright all day. This monitor was fairly dim and colors washed out. The controls are difficult to use as with most monitors because they are on the bottom edge of the monitor but you have to push up on them to make any change. Your hand has nothing to hold on to so you have to use both hands otherwise youre just bumping the monitor. Eventually I called ASUS tech support for help. I got right through to a support person who listened to my description of the problem. Then with no attempt at troubleshooting simply told me that the monitor probably is defective and I should contact Amazon for a replacement. Call was over in less than 2 minutes. So I did contact Amazon but for a refund rather than a return.

Asus in my opinion are the best monitor screens you can buy for the money crystal clear and brings color to life excellent features great on the eyes high quality exquisite design & the slim look is awesome. down side the speakers their ok for monitor speakers 2 w what can you expect I have klipsch thx external speakers w/ subwoofer awesome.

-if you look, you can definitely see pixellation artifacts. My son uses it for gaming, no problem with lag when paired with a high end graphic card (EVGA 1020 I) -Not as wide "dynamic range" vs. my higher end monitor (but 1/3 the cost of the high end) -Built is speaker quite terrible, often difficult to understand speech and I wont even consider music from the built in speakers. -Color adjustments OK. -Overall decent for the $$ but by no means a "giant killer"

So far this monitor has been really great. I purchased two of them for office use and the color and quality have far exceeded expectations. Also, with the low glare(matte finish) display it really makes viewing easy, especially since my office has a lot of light coming in. The speakers are not great. Basiclly the loudest they provide is comparable to 50% on my laptop so I only use my laptop to listen to sound if I need it. I would definitely recommend buying speakers if you need it for watching movies or other audio. There are filters for standard, gaming, and night time use, but I find I do not need to shift between them since I like the low light/blue filter option. If you are looking for a great quality monitor and can live without the speaker functionality then this is a great option.

Pros: + Extremely lightweight + Stylish, gold front with an almost infinity edge + Adjustable tilt stand + Nice picture (Im not a gamer so cant comment on refresh rates) Cons - Horrible speakers. Im using this as a second monitor so you might want to look elsewhere if sound is important. - Stand does not have vertical adjustment - Power button is to the left of a pop-out light, so I kept trying to push the pop-out light to turn on/off until I got used to it.
