Great purchase for my child. This is what they will be doing their work on in school in middle and high school. Speed is okay for what we need it for right now. Great value for the price!

The storage fills up very quickly and it will get all glitchy but other than that it is the best you can get at that price point

You get what you pay for. But whats new? The 2GB of RAM in this is barely sufficient to do Facebook, YouTube, and Gmail at the same time.... But if you only need to do those three things and nothing more, why spend more? The picture quality on this laptop is also a "C+" in my book. Kinda not as good as I expected laptops to look nowadays. Like I said though.... The price on this and everything that it does do makes it still a good purchase in my book. The battery life and actual weight of the laptop are exceptional for portability.

2gb of ram is not enough anymore. 4 is the neelw standard as the 2gb slugged its way to open and keep a meager 4 processes running simultaneously.

I got the chrome book last night and I love it. Its small but works exactly as I need for my use. When I first unboxed, I did as I usually do with computers. I plugged it in and immediately started trying to surf the web and watch a couple of videos. It was extremely slow! Come to find out, you must fully charge the battery first! The directions clearly say that, but I didnt know how critical it was. After a couple of hours, it was fully charged. What a difference! It works great now! I dont know why the first battery charge is mandatory, but for whatever reason it took care of the issue. I am very happy with my purchase

You get what you pay for (I paid $159). With a Chromebook, you think you know what youre getting, a computer that is nothing more than a basic browser. What is there that could make it slow? I dont know, but this computer is as slow as some of my PCs loaded down with software. Do yourself a favor, you can get a much better Chromebook for not much more money.
