I was a little nervous buying this, pretty good reviews, but seller was Blazing Prices when I ordered. Currently has 94% positive 12 mo. rating, but only 89% 30 day rating, so it looks like customer service is going down. Well, I got the laptop, in generic box with the correct 90watt adapter, no instructions or anything else. Well packaged, laptop looks brand new, and I think never used (not even a speck of dust on the fan). I did check ALL of the hardware, webcam works, battery life 2 hours, all keys good. Only defect I found was dvd player could not read home burned dvds. Burned dvds fine, and they played on another computer, but not on this one. Commercial dvds and cds play just fine, so it has a slightly defective dvd player. I didnt send it back because who uses dvds anymore anyway, and I didnt want to chance getting one with more significant problems. I wonder if some of these "refurbished" units are factory seconds? Keyboard is very good, better than most other laptop keyboards, though not as good as the older ThinkPads (I have an even older X100e ThinkPad with a better keyboard). As others have said, very good hardware and specs for the $205 shipped that I paid. Fast booting, fast working... great machine. Windows 10 installed wo problems and activated with the number on the label on the bottom of the computer. You do have to scratch off the silver stuff covering the first 4 numbers. Anyway, Im very happy.

Wow! This was the perfect machine at a perfect price for my grandkids, so I bought two. The machines came in like-new condition, free of bloatware, and were basically ready to run. Only two small hitches---the first was the little (hard to find) switch to turn on the wifi came set in the off position. Either setting it to on or including a note in the box about this would save some people time, especially the less tech savvy. The second is that since these are used laptops, the batteries are closer to the end of their life than the beginning---so in the next year or so, a new battery might be required unless you use it plugged in (which is largely the way ours will be used anyway). They have run perfectly for a week now. To sum, although older models, these T430 laptops will easily outperform virtually any comparably priced new laptop (which will likely not have as good a processor and/or an SSD).

The battery that came with this laptop was not compatible, also the VGA port is not working properly. We decide to buy a separate battery form our side and to buy an adapter for the VGA port. We connected the monitor using the VGA adapter to the mini HDMI port. The only thing good about this products was the price, but I never thought that Amazon will sell a laptop or computers on this condition.

Perfect work / school laptop. I bought it solely for work, but have found that the graphics card (NVIDIA) and CPU actually support many modern games. I got it to play Fortnite; granted it isnt perfect, its supposed to be impossible. Great value.

Was not impressed with this vendors packaging job. Laptop was bouncing around loose in the inner box, which was bouncing around loose in the outer box. I really wish REFURB companies would not install trial version of MS O-365 SW, this one installed 3 different languages which takes about 5+ minutes per language to uninstall, if you hit all the right buttons that are in a foreign language. I also, dont appreciate having to uninstall ESET Security. I prefer my REFUB to have a clean Windows 10 OOBE with no software added, thank you. Back lit keyboard on this one is extra lame, I have previously purchased 3 of this model that had excellent back lit keyboards. WI-FI 5G failed to connect, 2G works fine. Keyboard and Screen are bright and clean. i5 quad core is fast! Solid State Hard Drive boots up and ready to work in about 7 seconds.

Have only bought Dell in the past but have had to replace them all. My son looked through Amazon for me and this is the one he came up with. Money was a big issue and for the price I would never get a Dell again!!! I loved the instruction sheet that came with it! Being 71 I had to figure out how to open it because I never had one that locked the top. It is a really good feature!! Would recommend this to anyone!! I know it says refurbished but I cant tell! Seems new to me!!!

There was some issues, when avast is installed keyboard has been blocked! We tried for all possible ways to unblocked it, but finally, we unblocked it. I didnt know that laptop was used before!! and its so old model, that when I lost my charger none of computer shops had it! They realized me that system is changed from windows 7 to windows 10. So I sold my old laptop to buy this one and its maybe even older! seller is a liar and trying to play smart. Fan started to work so loud after 2 months that it was impossible to stand it! When I brought it to computer store- they change it for new and they said" that it was working for so many years, so it got dirty!" I felt ridiculous, couse I thought that I have new laptop!! Unfortunately I realized it way too late for return! Im very angry!

I was skeptical to purchase an item that was listed as refurbished and that had only a stock photo in the description, so I took a leap of faith. What I received is a like-new quality machine that fired up right away and rivaled an office mates brand new Asus! If I had to do it over again I would. Fast delivery and no problems so far make me confident to recommend this product. All functions work and its very clean, only small wear on some of the keys and spacebar, but as a used computer, the wear is minimal.

In lieu of the multitude of reviews, this one will be on the customer service surrounding issues with the product. As you can see, the laptop was advertised to have Bluetooth capability. When I received it, no Bluetooth. Klamp, the vendor, responded pretty quickly to my support inquiry and worked with me to confirm that there was no Bluetooth. They then offered me multiple solutions, and I ended up going with the Bluetooth adapter. They shipped it to me (all at no charge), and I got it in just a couple days. I then noticed that the laptop wouldnt run on battery (AT ALL). I emailed the Klamp rep that I was in contact with, and they shipped me out a fresh battery (at no charge!). All is well with this laptop now. After owning for a little over two months, Im very pleased with the speed and capabilities of the laptop. Its affordable, and now Bluetooth capable.

To get the nice parts out of the way first: The laptop arrived on time and very securely packaged. Unlike other reviewers mine came with the charging cable. Windows 10 was installed and almost ready to go (see below), with all drivers seemingly working. Benchmarking it came up with about what youd expect out of an almost 8 year old laptop. Nice stuff out of the way: The laptop came disgustingly dirty. Look at the pictures, tell me Im wrong. Every inch of this thing was covered in scratches, dirt, grime, and dust. This laptop has some MILES on it. Im not sure what Amazons definition of "RENEWED" is but apparently even wiping the thing down wasnt on the list. Additionally, the copy of Windows 10 was installed with an invalid product key. I did not attempt to verify the sticker on the bottom of the device, but the last 4 digits did not match. So yeah... this thing is going back. Too bad, I really like the laptop otherwise and will probably take some time to find a gently used one elsewhere, rather than roll the dice on another "Renewed" unit.
