First - I love this chromebook... Bang for the buck is amazing! I read a lot of reviews, and I knew what I was getting for the most part... but even after reading reviews and having had previous chromebooks, the screen on this device blew me away... its beautiful, especially for the price. The keyboard took a little getting used to, but is very adequate for home or business use. The touch pad is high quality and accurate - no complaints... As of the time of this writing, Ill say my biggest disappointment is ChromeOS and its lack of support for the pen. Coming from an Apple Pencil, this stylus isnt bad, but its a step backwards... If the OS had better pen support (better functionality/integration in apps like Google Keep) I would be much happier. That is a critique of the OS, not the tablet. As for the device, its pen tracks well and writes decent - not as nice as the Apple pencil. The elastic loop that holds the pen is almost a criminal act of mediocrity against a chromebook that is otherwise stellar. Oh, and the processor is super snappy while battery lasts forever... The things I would change if I could: 1. More storage 2. Backlit keyboard 3. Better way to store the pen 4. 4G WiFi Option 5. OS improvements for pens (I expect these will come in time) Mostly though, this is a straight up bad-ass chromebook, probalby second only to the Pixel, which Im not willing to pay for... even though it probably has all the features this is missing (at 3-4 x the price). If you want a great CB on a budget, this is your device!

Altough a bit pricy a great device. Works smooth. Very nice looking touchscreen. Android Play Store is preinstalled and several apps work fine. Didnt try Linux apps, but community says that works too. Delivered very fast from california to austria within 7 days. And the transport was over germany over easter weekend, when in germany ist public holiday on easter friday and monday!!! Cant find out if there is a screen protection which works with the pen.

I love the HP Chromebook, it is sleek and beautiful and the speakers are reasonably loud enough. It meets my everyday use. However, when I received it, the front-facing camera is blurry, I tried everything to fix it, contacting HP with no luck. I use the Chromebook for personal use, so I frequently use Google Duo, which makes it not a nice experience using the device.

Arrived on time. A couple of years ago I would not have considered a 2 in 1 or a cromebook, but times have changed. This is the nicest machine that I have owned since the cmos days. Really cant think of any negatives. Maybe more local storage, but this is less important on a cookbook than a Windows machine. NO has a winner

I like every single thing about this. In fact I use it in tablet mode 90% of the time. The only thing I want more would be the RAM (because I need more power for my work) and storage (32GB will leave only 12GB Max); the problem with storage is not about storing files because there is MicroSD card reader slot, but it is about installing apps must be on local storage, which must fit into that 32GB. There are problems that could be fixed later when downloading files from Linux or Android, it will go to MicroSD directly. But again, with the price, I am not complaining. BTW, I love the pen!

The computer shipped quickly and fullfils the product description. Pros: •Keyboard is clicky and responsive. •Detach mechanism is good. •Playstore apps are cool. •Ports and buttons are convenient. •Screen is bright. •Speakers are decent Cons: •Theres some minor lag in streaming videos, playing games, editing video, etc. Its probably ok if youre not doing anything really taxing or for that long amount of time, but its worth noting. •Because the screen has almost all the components, the computer is very top heavy when used in laptop mode. •The stylus uses AAA •The cameras kinda suck (an occasional video call is ok but your phone could probably do better) •No standard USB port means no external mouse, flash drive, charging accessories, etc. (Unless you use an adapter which is unfortunately not included) Overall a good computer for light users and students. Worth the $440 I payed

I really wanted to love this machine, and pretty much did with one huge exception. There was a bright spot on the display of the first unit I ordered, which was extremely irritating, but I loved the functionality of the device so I exchanged it. The second unit had the exact same problem in a slightly different area. Getting two defective units in a row was a real let down. They were both from the same vendor, so I dont know if they have a bad lot or what, but image quality issues like this shouldnt be a thing twice in a row.

This is the first detachable Chromebook on the market, its the HP Chromebook X2 and its a lovely piece of equipment. Great battery life, keyboard (not backlit but still not a deal breaker) and more on the pricey end of the Chromebook scale. I got a good deal from GreatDealsForU (about $200 less than retail and other online sellers)...totally worth it!

This is a teachers dream. It is light, convertible, looks great, and works fast! I love the touch screen, the pen, and the battery life! Since schools have all become google schools with 1-to-1 with chromebooks for students it is really important for the teachers to have a chromebook as well. I just didnt like having a cheap, durable chromebook with minimal features that students have. This combo gives me an upgraded, high-end chromebook with many more features and flexibility to use anywhere in the classroom! Awesome job HP and great price for the quality!
