At the time of purchase, the 16GB RAM/512GB SSD was the same price as the 32GB RAM/1TB SSD (2499), So i opted for the better specd version (2080 Max-Q variant) This laptop beats out my desktop (1070) in FPS for every game i play, which is mostly Total War Warhammer 2 and Black Ops 4. It gets hot in the lap, so if that is where you play most comfortably, i would reccomend also purchasing a cooling pad, to elevate it and increase thermal performance. After an undervolt applied to the CPU, with fans running at almost max on a custom profile, there was no thermal throttling, and I was able to achieve steady performance with no bottlenecking while gaming for hours on end. Very convienient to have a physical Turbo Boost button, so youre not ALT-TABing out of your games to adjust fan speeds and overclocking, which can be a pain. The amount of I/O they put into this laptop is honestly ridiculous considering the slim form factor. everything you would need, including thunderbolt 3. Overall, great laptop with great portability and performance, chose this laptop over the zephyrus due to the keyboard placement, which was a dealbreaker for me considering i do 99% of gaming with the laptop on my lap.

My first review and impressions. Recieved it and have some... questions. Screen bleeding left upper corner (only on black screen of course) and black dot (like dead pixel) in lower left part of the screen. Should I return laptop to wait new one with better screen? Or not? Didnt test it yet but overal as expected. Small. Light. Fast. Nice and responsive clickpad. Comfortable keyboard. Screen bezel very slim, had Predator 17" 980m and Alienware 17 r5 1070, so new one feels like... ipad compared to that monsters. More details later

Just got my Triton 500 with RTX 2080, 16GB, 512 SSD. In the bios I have an option for switchable graphics - "MSHybrid" and "dGPU". This was rather unexpected and a great bonus! Very small and lightweight machine, nearly identical in size to the Razer Blade Advanced. Scored over 21k in FireStrike graphics and over 7900 in TimeSpy graphics benchmarks. This machine is smoking fast!

Great performance overall, super fast, light, quality material and track pad could be better.

Waste of $1700. Acer, once again has failed to produce a working laptop. GPU is dead and not being recognized a month after purchase. Cannot even reinstall drivers. Stay away from this laptop and Acer.

Works great for the first two months. After two months, the battery life goes all the way from 100% to 0% with battery balance mode in 1 hour. cannot return the product because the return period expired
