This thing arrived without Windows 10 installed. Im waiting on a Operating System USB to be sent so I can boot up the computer. Update: I received the reboot Window 10 USB today and after 2 hours Im finally setup. This blank computer over site sapped all the joy out of a new computer purchase.
My Lenovo Ultrabook laptop was 3 times the cost of this one. I deducted one star for the poor finish on the lid, its shiny metal and gets full of fingerprints. Also, the charger is very cheap and doesnt have a Lenovo logo. Im not impressed with Windows 10, but thats Microsofts fault. There are a lot of settings that need to be changed. The only bloatware is McAfee AV, which I promptly deleted. Windows Defender is more than adequate these days.
LOVE this new laptop! It has all the essentials I was looking for - a SSD hard drive, CD/DVD drive, higher screen resolution, keyboard with the 10-key pad and a trackpoint for faster mouse speed. The specs all looked great, and Lenovo computers have always been a favorite with me, so when I was looking for a new all-around laptop, this one looked like the best deal for the price. Set up was fast and it runs great. I like the night view screen.
I’m a Computer Science student and just recently got this laptop. For the price, it is a great computer! I use it for minor software development and have the hard drive partitioned for a Kali Linux dual-boot for cyber security. There were no defects, though I had to wipe the hard drive just to do a clean install of windows because of all the bloatware on it. But you’ll get that with any major laptop brand so nothing really to complain about there. My favorite thing about it so far is the keyboard. The travel distance for the keys is perfect. Perfect laptop for me.
like everything about this hardware. with SSD memory boot time is 2-3 seconds. my only criticism is not Lenovo, but windows 10. MS cant seem to get it right.
The laptop was advertised as coming with Windows 10, but it came with Windows 7 installed not Windows 10. Also, there was no CD/DVD for Windows 10 with the laptop.
Windows was not installed and there was no CD sent. I have to buy it separately.TERRIBLE PRODUCT!!! NO SUPPORT
