I really want to like this mouse. Its comfortable, a great form-factor, has great battery life and the Unifying receiver and SetPoint software is fantastic. That being said, I can only give it three stars because of how atrocious the scroll wheel is for middle-clicking. If you do any, ANY sort of Mouse-3 button clicking, say, to close tabs in Chrome, or open a link in a new tab, you will feel the pain of mis-clicking ALL the time. The scrolling functionality is so sensitive that you will inadvertently scroll while trying to mouse-3 click on a link. Sometimes it takes me 5 or 6 attempts to open a link in a new tab. I now loathe having to use this mouse when I travel because every time I Mouse-3 there is a 50% chance I will mis-click. If you never use the mouse-3 button to open or close tabs in a browser, and if you never play video games that involve scrolling between weapons or zooming in or out/up or down, this mouse will probably satisfy your needs. If you expect to do any sort mouse-3 clicking, in a browser or in a video game, get something with a less sensitive scroll wheel.

Ive had more then a few V450 and M505 type mice on my home and work computers. My current M505 started acting up after a long service life so I picked up a blue M525 as a replacement. I do like the M525 scroll wheel better than the M505. The rest of it is pretty much the same function as the M505. I can tell Logitech cheaped out on the on/off switch. I use that switch often to save battery life when not in use or during transport. I feel like Im going to break this flimsy switch, its noticeably harder to grip with a finger, and it is pretty vague if I actually moved it or not. The M505 on/off switch was perfect. The M525 on/off switch is a cheap cop out which I hope does not speak for the rest of this product. Time will tell.
