Ive spent more money on keyboards that Id like to admit. One thing that the new Logitech K780 and MX Master mouse do very uniquely is replace simple KVM switches. It also has a very good light key action. The keys have very little play in them and are soft yet firm in their action. Actuation pressure is fairly light but doesnt feel cheap at all. I like the key layout. I actually do use insert, delete, page up, page down and the arrow keys quite a bit. I do prefer a TKL layout but this is also not bad. I can easily adapt to the alternate layout and can use the numpad as directional pads with all the aforementioned keys laid out on the numbers. I think its important not to have too much space between the right edge of the enter key and the mouse. This allows proper centering of the keyboard without having to use the mouse way out to the right of your workspace. The keyboard is also heavy. This allows it to be used as a base for heavier tablets. I use it with my iPad Pro 9.7" in tablet or portrait mode easily. They definitely spent some time on this because it actually angles devices down quite a bit. This is the proper ergonomic angle since this allows you to look down on the iPad without crouching. Ive used a couple mechanical keyboards and I plan on keeping them for a variety of uses, but this will probably be my main desktop keyboard. It is just so versatile and has the perfect layout for me. Some key points of the keyboard I like: - 3 device switcher (can use any combination of Logitech Unifying receiver and Bluetooth). Works great to switch between my Mac and Windows PC. - Full sized key spacing. (Although this looks like the K380, the keys are more widely spaced and are definitely of a higher quality) - Number pad - Customization of keys. - Reduced width for better ergonomics for right-handed mouse users. - 24 month battery life. I basically only will have to replace the batteries once, maybe twice before I get a new keyboard.

This thing is perfect. All I wanted was low keys (super short throw). I got it with this and keys are quiet and fun. Round also keeps me from catching corners of other keys when typing fast. Delete button is a must (Wth Apple?). Ive been waiting for there to be a keyboard that can instantly switch between devices. Bonus that it holds the devices too. I use the USB receiver with my Win10 laptop (on a desk stand next to a second monitor). I put my Iphone and Ipad in the keyboard rack. With the touch of a button I switch instantly between the three devices. Fast texting and writing to calendar on I devices while working on laptop etc. Keyboard is heavier than most, which people equate to quality. For me maybe it makes it more stable. Batteries are included, two AAAs. Usb receiver storage next to batteries. Connect your other Logitech devices to this usb receiver with the Unifying program at Logitech site. Amazon wont let me give you the link. I combined an old mouse and it all works on one usb receiver.

I bought one of these in White months ago to use at work. I immediately fell in love (don’t tell my husband). I’ve been using it daily for the past 6+ months and my gosh... it has changed my life. I paired it with a Triathalon mouse by Logitech and the duo are my dream pair <3 When I upgraded to an iPad Pro I didn’t want to pay through the nose for one of their dinky little attachable keyboard covers (I know, blasphemy) so I looked this one up again and went with the speckled one since it was back down again in price to around $60. I can’t say enough good things about this keyboard. The keys are so comfortable to type on that I can literally type from 9-5 every day and not feel like my fingers or wrists are dying. The device switching makes it super simple to switch devices on the fly, which is vital for me at work, and convenient at home for switching between multiple tablets, etc. I’m thinking about trying it with my Apple TV so if I end up doing that I may update this review on whether it’s easy to hook up and use successfuly with that as well.

This is hands down one of the best keyboards Ive ever used. First of all the packaging itself, Im no fan boy of Logitech but the aesthetic from box to product is just on point and fantastic. Very modern minimalist feeling. Its like if this keyboard were a home, itd be on Grand Designs... Anyways set up is dead simple. Follow the instructions on the box and youll be fine, just remember to use the right process for either MacOS or Windows etc. The keys have a very, very solid feel to them. They feel leaps and bounds better to me than the action you get on a macbook pro keyboard pre 2016 or the magic keyboard version 1. Just less squish and more satisfying. Holy smokes theyre quiet too, its like the ninja of keyboards. The circular keys were really easy to get used to, and to be frank they look so much nicer from an aesthetic point of view in my opinion. Very typewriter-esque. Pairing with the unifying dongle was great because I also bought a Logitech MX Master mouse, it simply required I plug both dongles in at first. Eventually the software (for the love of god just install Options, its amazing) recognized I had two dongles and asked if Id like to remove one from my mix. Easy to follow steps later and I was there. Theres a fair amount of travel for such a low profile keyboard on the keys, nothing crazy but enough to really feel like I got ish done when I finish banging out an email. Most importantly, switching between machines that I control with this is a breeze. Once youre done pairing you literally just hit the button on the keyboard for the device youd like to control and youre done. I game on a PC and I work on a Macbook Pro 2016, and this thing does it all. I high reccomend installing the options software, so you can remap the FN keys and change their behavior. Are you one of those heathens that wants the FN keys to automatically require you hold FN to do volume up and down? Theres a setting for that. Do you want to map the home button on Windows 10 to TaskView (which I love)? Go for it, in Options. You can even turn on application specific mapping of buttons and have the mappable buttons do different things depending on what app youre focused on at the moment. Ive done this with Excel and a few games. Lastly even if you dont want to use this to control a phone or tablet, the little tray is one of the coolest things ever, because you simply just "dock" your phone or tab there. I use it with my LG G6 and its just superb. Over all if youre thinking about getting this keyboard stop thinking and start doing. Even if you dont have more than one device, and dont plan to use its switching capabilities, its just a fantastic piece of kit thats really one of a kind and works really well.

My wife purchased a Logitech keyboard like this but without the numeric keypad. She purchased it locally and paid a bit more for it than this one that I got from Amazon. I tried her keyboard and I liked it. It was a lot smaller then the previous Logitech keyboard I had and it sits flat. I do use the numeric keypad a lot, so I wanted this model. It took me about a half hour to get used to it because the shift key, for some reason, feels like its in a different position then my prior board. I really like the keyboard as it sits flat, is small and takes up a lot less room then my other keyboard. I think I can compare this to the Apple keyboard. It also reminds me of the old PC Jr. keyboard that was often referred to as a chicklet keyboard. It is easy to use and it has that click feel that I like.

This is my 3rd Logitech "gender fluid" keyboard and its by far the best, especially cuz it has a Numpad and I live in Excel. First was k380, similar feel, and I still use it at my 2nd office. Solid & reliable, although getting it set up on my locked down Windows work machine was a hassle at first. 2nd was K810, bought it as an "upgrade" and it was anything but. Looks nice, illumination is nice, but the built in battery is a hassle and worst of all it loses connection to both my Mac and PC, randomly.Key feel was worse and it attracts dust & fingerprints like mad with the glossy surfaces. I was looking at the outrageously priced Craft as a way of getting out of the disappointing 810, and got this one instead. I was skeptical mostly of the "white tablet stand". But its actually very tasteful, and handy, and doesnt add a lot of bulk when you are not using it. In terms of design, this it Philip Starck Classy vs Sony Practical Styling of the 810. Actually much nicer. And it paired with my Mac Pro, Dell Laptop, and iPad Air 2 seamlessly, switches fast AND HAS A NUMPAD!!! Cant believe this is cheaper than the 810 it is far superior.

I’m writing this review on my IPad Pro 12.9” and the Logitech K780 Multi-Device Wireless Keyboard. This thing solves a lot of problems for me. The latest IPad Pro is a legit work horse. Coupled with the Apple Pencil and a functional keyboard (less-so the Apple Smart Keyboard), this thing replaces a laptop on one front, and a tablet/stylus on the other. I use this for an array of task as a designer and the keyboard or lack thereof has plagued me since I picked this beaut up! Apple Smart Keyboard: I got this IPad with the Smart Keyboard and while it was beautiful and thin and integral, it left a lot to be desired. For one, it limits your ability to use a case to protect the surprisingly easy-to-scratch back. And in my case, and many others, the keyboard would not lay flat once deployed and supporting the weight of the iPad. This became incredibly annoying. The final nail in the coffin was the form over function approach. While it was thin and very attractive, for me, the ability to quickly deploy the keyboard, naturally place my hands and go to typing was seriously hindered by the meager profile and presence of keys and indicators to index your finger placement from. Logitech K780: I’ve not used the keyboard for much more than a day or so of normal use. But if feels fantastic. Per my taste, this is also a very attractive keyboard. The round keys are kinda sleek and retro. The keyboard itself is kind of a sleeper gray/black. The slot for the tablet/phone is like a firm silicone material. Meaning it’s soft and of a non-marring yet grippy, tactile nature. Very functional. Some device/case combos won’t fit. I have a very tactical-esque case for the iPad. It fits, but not well. I love the arrangement of having the iPad in the slot, but I prefer to leave my case attached. And use it’s built in kick-stand thingy. Many cases available WILL fit, you just may want to take some extra measures to make sure before you buy if that’s a big deal. The Keyboard is pretty weighty for as small as it is. There must be a ballast of some kind, obviously intended to counter balance the weight of a large tablet. It does so very well! Pairing is easy and reliable - make the devices “find” each other, the device will give you a 6 digit code to enter on the Logitech K780 keyboard, press “Enter” following the pairing code and you’re done. My iPad doesn’t tell me to press “Enter”, but my android phone did. You can quickly and effectively switch between up to 3 devices. The keyboard also comes with a little usb dongle for pairing with your desktop computer, much like every other Logitech keyboard. There is some button placement sacrificed for the sake of being compact, for instance, the arrow keys are a bit small and close together. But I’ve not had any mistrokes or anything thus far, so just something to get used to. A big draw to this keyboard and ones like it, was the full size number keypad. It does this while still being compact. The only drawback I see to this keyboard, is I wish it was rechargeable using micro-usb. Other’s I looked at were, and I kind of let that slip by me when buying this one. Not that I would have changed my preference or anything. But the need to keep up with and properly dispose of batteries is kind a pain. I suppose I can get some rechargeable batteries and keep those on hand instead. Anyway, shut up and buy it. You’ll be satisfied. Logitech makes several models that do what this one does but cheaper. Check those out of $60 isn’t a good value in your mind.

The Logitech K780 is a distinct step up from the budget keyboards Ive been using forever on my Windows machines. Its weight and stiffness yield a solid typing experience. The sharp-edged concave key-tops are comfortable and keep the fingers from drifting out of position. Its design is modern and stylish without sacrificing usability. (The rubber backed device slot is barely wide enough for my Moto G3 in a case.) The f4, f5, f6 and search keys are easily reassigned new functions from a list of 63 items in the Logitech Options software. My only real gripe about the K780 is the included setup documentation, an incomplete wordless graphic. Fortunately there is an excellent setup guide available from Logitechs site. While there, be sure to grab the Setpoint and Options software.

Cant say enough good things about this keyboard. I thought the circular keys would be weird at first but I had no trouble typing on this from day one and Im far more accurate than on my other keyboard. Its really quiet and the key travel is perfect. The flow feature (the main reason I bought it) works AWESOME. I go between a Mac and a PC for work and when I drag my mouse to the side of one screen it brings the mouse to the other screen and AUTOMATICALLY switches the keyboard to that computer. Its like freakin magic. I would have been content with pressing the 1 and 2 switching buttons on the top row but this is 100x better. It doesnt miss the first character like my other keyboard did because of sleeping issues. Although I do have it hooked to a unifying receiver on each computer if that makes a difference. Once I had the software downloaded setup took only a few seconds. Very impressed.
