Thrilled with this PC. Looks great, slimmer design! Fast processor. Don’t use it for gaming so don’t know about that but I am sure it is wonderful!
Really nice other than Wi_Fi performance.. Barely picks up a signal from within 8 feet of wireless router. My phone and laptops all connect fine.
Simple to setup. VERY quiet!
For an i7 processor, this isnt too quick. Works OK if you dont have to do anything that taxes the system. Have had this for ~10 months and the power supply died on me. HP Support will repair it--only takes three weeks! If I want it back in only two weeks, I have to pay their "expedited" fee of $50. Next time Im getting a Dell or Lenovo. Cant afford this downtime.
I purchased this computer a month ago and a separate NVIDIA GTX 1060 Ti graphics card for gaming and game production. Though there is room for a standard 1060. This computer has not disappointed me at all playing triple A games on mid to high settings. Hard drive does read on task manager "disk 100%" when running games, but doesnt seem to affect performance in any way. I am very happy with this purchase. I Dont recommend putting in anything larger then a GTX 1060, as the system has a 300w power supply and am not sure if the power system would be able to support a graphics card any larger. Plus the gaming version of this same system exact specs uses the GTX 1060. But I bought this system and saved money rather then the gaming version and bought the graphics card cheaper on Amazon.

I have used HP products for over 25 years. While I have no problem with the overall performance of this system the DVD drive is a concern. It feels like it is about to break whenever it is used. I dont think they could have found a cheaper or flimsier DVD drive anywhere.
I bought this when my 8 year old PC bit the dust. I wanted a CD rom, because I use some software that is still loaded via CD. The CD Rom on this does not work. It doesnt spin, it doesnt load, it isnt recognized in the file directory like a USB drive is. Its just a decoration on the front of a pretty silver box. That being said, I did not load that software first. First I transferred all my old files from my hard drive to the new PC. So, now I have this all set up with my files (word docs, pictures, everything I need) but cant load the software I want and need. Is it worth it to return it? Probably not. Is it a bummer the CD rom doesnt work? ABSOLTELY! My bad for not trying it first. PS -- Yes, I am aware they make external CD Rom drives. I just dont want to buy one since I chose this model specifically because it had one.
