Years ago I had a Cannon, used it till the shutter quit closing. Getting ready to take a big trip to Alaska and want something small and reliable. Yes, I have an iPhone but wanted to be sure I had a back up. Used my new beautiful blue camera a few times and the photos are clear and focused. Used the zoom a few times and it is wonderful the picture is so clear. Most times even with my phone when I zoom in has a blur to the photo. Looking forward to my second trip to our 50th state and know I will get better photos this time with my new camera. The size of the camera is easy to handle. The strap always comes in handy to prevent from dropping, it may could be knocked out of my hand, but will only be dangling around my wrist. I feel confident and excited about taking more pictures. This was bought as a replacement for a Power Shot SD850 IS which I use for work photos. as a PI we need detailed photos for whatever job we have whether it is an auto accident, water damage, workers compensation scarring etc. Ive only had it for a week and it works better than the old one and the photos are much more detailed. I will use it for some long distance work such as tree limbs, upper stories etc but not for surveillance. Im happy with the purchase so far and glad I chose it over a competitors which was $400 but did offer under water protection.

Very disappointed. I’m a DSLR veteran, so maybe my expectations were too high. The picture quality is terrible, and the colors don’t even approach natural. I’m sorry I bought it. My cell phone takes better pictures.

I just bought this package in 2017, due to the fact that my old canons battery didnt work anymore. anyways, decided to invest in a newer version of canon, something simple because i use it for work purposes only; to take pictures of inspections and need something small that can fit in my back pocket and doesnt create attention from lookers as to why im taking pictures of the inspections. Anyways, i love the camera quality, and teh package that brings the extra battery pack, the adapter to transfer pictures, and the memory drive. its a great package and a good deal :)

Only downside is that the screen is very small so it is hard to see if the picture turned out. All of the pictures have turned out fine, its just nice to be able to see it on the camera at that moment.

Love all the extras that comes with this camera. Like the fact that the bluetooth was very easy to connect to phone and how easy it is to share photos. The only down side to this camera is the screen is small.

I wanted a small lightweight camera for an upcoming trip so I didn’t have to lug my heavy dslr camera and all its accouterments around with me. This ELPH 190 fits the bill perfectly. It’s small enough to fit in a pocket and I like the quality of the photos. I ordered 2 of them, (a blue one and a black one) for one of my sisters and myself, and we liked them so much we ordered another one (a red one) for our other sister the next day. We also had one day delivery which was great. My only (and it’s super minor) complaint is that the red one came with an extra beak-away wrist strap that wasn’t included with the black or blue cameras.

I had high expectations for this camera based on other reviews; however, I encountered one huge problem. The view finder turns into a mirror under certain conditions. What those conditions are, I cant say as I couldnt find a pattern to the issue. Sometimes I would go to shoot a picture and couldnt see a single thing except my own reflection, while other times, i could see the target of my photo perfectly. On those occasions where the viewfinder turned into a mirror, all i could do is point and shoot and hope that I captured the photo. The other problem I encountered is that it is impossible to review all previous photos. Only the previous photo can be reviewed. For the price, I expected much, much better.

This package blew me away. The camera first off is excellent. Yes you can use your phone for similar quality photos if you have a fancy phone. I do not, and with an upcoming trip to Peru, a small, light, efficient camera was in order. The camera checks off the biggest qualification for this purchase. But wait theres more...not one battery but two are included, plus two chargers, one for international travel, AND a car charger. Then you get a large tripod AND a tiny one. Plus a full accessories kit with cleaning supplies and a SD card storage wallet, an SD card, and a card reader. Then to top it all off, theres a handy travel camera case. I cant be more pleased with this purchase and the price. Outstanding.

I bought this camera for my trip to Europe in two weeks. After pricing just the camera at other retailers, youre looking at $140-150 alone. This package comes with a bunch of stuff, but what really makes it worthwhile is the 32 GB card and replacement battery AND turbo charger. The camera case will only hold the camera, so dont assume you can stuff all of your accessories in it! As for the camera itself, it takes very nice photos and I really love the fact that you can set it up via Wifi to transfer photos right to your phone. Overall, this is a fantastic deal and I greatly look forward to its performance while Im on vacation. If I remember to, I will update this in a few weeks to include pictures from my vacation.
