This is an excellent short to medium zoom lens. I purchased this one to replace one that was damaged on a trip.
Honestly after paying $134 you would think they would provide the lens cap for this items protection. I’m disappointed it’s seems that things are getting cheaper and cheaper nowadays.
Was a great add on so I could own both lenses. fits in a pocket easier.
With the trust it will be very good product, I brought this. Since I was rushing to move out of the country I didnt had a chance to open the box and verify its working or not because of the trust Amazon will have good products. when I tried this after reaching to my country, it shows that "Cannot recognize lens, attach it properly". I cleaned the lens and camera properly.. no issue with my camera as it works with another lens. I tried contacting sony customer service and they said, a flat fee of $135-$140 needs to be paid and your lens would require servicing. Thats where I landed up with this now and its like loosing my whole money..!
Sharp in the center in bright light but woefully soft in the corners. Gave my wife my A6000 and this lens, when I upgraded to the A6300 with Sigma lens...
These lens are really good its just be careful not to drop the lens or shove them under a bed they too need a storage and a safe spot to be in so if you want to waist your money than why not?
I ordered the same lense from a different seller and I had to return that one because it wont work(a faulty lense). Crossing my fingers, I ordered from this seller and wallah my lense is working just fine. I am happy.
like the lens find it easy to change from small to longer lens if you dont like to change lens check out the rx 10
We had to get this to replace a damaged lens. Connected right up to the camera and was recognized. So glad to have this small lens working again.
I opened the box with the lens wrapped in large bubble wrap taped with scotch tape. Another layer of small bubble wrap surrounded the lens. The small bubble wrap was very worn and dirty. The whole lens was dirty and smudged, dirt was in the grooves, and the edges of the lens cap had small nicks. I did not place the dirty lens on my camera. I had ordered a new product. The condition of the lens is not the quality I expected. I am definitely returning this product.
