Great lens, a little overpriced due to plastic construction
I had been using a Rokinon f/1.4, which is a manual focus lens, on both my Nikon D-750 and D-610. I was happy with the results for the most parts but wanted automatic focus capability and an improvement on the chromatic aberration I was noticing below f/2.0. I am thoroughly satisfied with the improvements that this lens as given. It has definitely been worth the purchase price and people have been noticing the improvement of my images. Each of the sample images I have included were shot at f/1.4 to f/1.8 in daylight. In some cases, I lowered the ISO to 50, in order to shoot wider open.
love this lens! it works great in low lighting and its got good glass as well. it takes wonderful shots very happy with it
It is the best portrait lens Ive ever used and Ive used a lot of different ones over the years shooting weddings and portraits.
Sharp wide open! I use it mainly for indoor sports (hockey/basketball) and the results are superb.
Excellent lens, super sharp, and super fast, which produces excellent creamy bokeh , this a example of my first test shot, with this beautiful portrait lens, that can be used for a number of photographic situations, i highly recommend it......
