I loved the quality of light and the function. However, the light went out and stopped working on the 8th use. I dont know if the lightbulb or the whole device died. But that was a really short lifespan for such an expensive light. I dont really want to by a new lightbulb to test it and have it be the housing that is defective and not the lightbulb. I would consider a different brand instead of this one.

The light itself is great, lightweight and does what I expected. Its one switch and easy to use. The only reason Im giving it a 4 is because I cant really use it - it doesnt fit on my tripod. There is something "missing" that I think, should have come with the light - or at least mentioned that it wouldnt work on most tripods without that piece so I could order it. Maybe it was me.

We have LOVED this light. I wouldve of given it more stars, however we have ran into a few issues. The first- the tripod tips very easily. So much so, that it totally fell over, and the bulb broke. Thats where the second thing comes into play. The bulb was hard to find in the correct size for the light. We ended up finding one, but it cost almost as much as the full set up (without the tripod). The most recent problem is the on/off switch. I noticed this when we first received it, but didnt think much of it. I should of though! The on/off switch is actually backwards, so after using it over and over, the wires got all tangled, and now it doesnt work, at all. Pretty upset about the over all quality of the light.

LOVE my Neewer ring light. Didnt exactly realize it needs its own stand, so if youre reading this and you dont have one, you might want to check that out. Not the end of the world for me as Im able to balance it around my lens and get a great look from my portraits! Otherwise it looks and works exactly as listed. Very happy with this purchase!

Got it and so far GREAT! (Not 5 stars because the dimmer has a mind of its own and seems to be on a 2 second delay, but its just a small inconvenience). For those of you talking about not fitting on your tripod, you need a LIGHTING tripod, not a camera one. Basically a stalk that you cap with your light of choice. Dont give a bad review because you dont know anything about equipment. Its not Neewers fault you dont know what youre doing

This ring light is ok... I use it for my YouTube channel ( my name is MAXINE JAY if you are wondering) because I am a natural Hair YouTuber and I want my subscribers to be able to see my hair properly. I gave it 4 stars because theres only one light setting and it doesnt come with an adapter or stand for the camera. I might as well have bought some other companies ring lights for a couple more bucks.

I am a freelance makeup artist, and my biggest frustration is lighting! Lighting can make or break your look because when it comes to matching a new client, lighting can be deceiving. This ring light is the perfect size to travel to see clients, and to take great makeup photos. I love that it comes with a case and everything. Only thing I would recommend, is to check what tripod fist best because the one I already had doesnt really fit this light well, and it is attached on its side. It works none the less, but I wouldve preferred a tripod that fit better.
