Well built. I bought two. Unfortunately, the interior female diameter of one was 18mm, the other 12mm. Otherwise identical and same product number! Unfortunately, the smaller diameter doesnt fit a bayonet mount so its useless. I want to order several more of these but hesitate due to the probable hassle of returning small mounts and hoping to get the right one. Someone in the QA dept needs to be trained or replaced.

like it because it gives me more height for what i need and also that it bends... can be a bit stiff and does not stay bent in the same position for long.

Does the job, pretty sturdy but cant handle that heavy of a weight. Make sure to only bend this while you have a load attached or you may have a hard time bending or permanently damage it.

Bought to be able to quickly and reliably reposition lights or my iPhone that is used as a monitor for taking video wth GoPros. Does not work as advertised or expected. EXTREMELY stiff and when you manage to bend it it does not hold position, but quickly returns to its realitivlely straight form.

This "flexible" arm seemed a good value at first, but then I thought that it was much too inflexible for its main intended use. However, I later realized that it really needs to be this stiff in order to hold up the weight of the LED ring light. You do really need to grip it and use a lot of force in order to change its position, which is the downside of the required stiffness. It is not a perfect solution by any means, but it does hold the ring light in position. And due to the weight of the ring light (at least the 18" version), I dont see a better solution. , note: I did try a Manfrotto 237HD Heavy-Duty Flex Arm, but it could not hold the ring light in place at a right-angle. A shorter version of it (it is 21") might have worked better.

This concept is something Ive been needing and looking for and I wanted a benable adaptor that could be used on light stands to hold light wands and beauty lights. I wanted to be able to tilt the lights. While the product look bendable, its barely is. its very strong which is great for supporting a heavier light but Its so hard to bend. I wish it was more flexible. I do need weight support but not THAT much.

I bought these arms to top my travel light stands because they are only 6.5 tall and this adds an extra foot. Also, I liked the idea of them being flexible so I could attach my 1x1 lights and softbox without having to fiddle with any additional adapters. They are stiff, but thats a good thing. You want to be able to bend them without worrying about them falling or slipping and in that regard they did their job admirably. My only complaint with these arms is that out of the two that I purchased only one of them fit properly in my light stands. They have two different sized holes where they connect and for the life of me, Im not sure why. I love the one that works and would simply buy another if I knew it would fit properly.

Didnt even come close to fitting the Neewer 18" LED Ring Light kit. Bottom of the tube arm is too small to fit over the tripod tip.
