I bought this flash because I primary do landscape photography but wanted a small cheap flash for the few times a year I actually find the need for one. I’ve had the flash 6 months and used it roughly 3 or times with great results. Unfortunately it stopped working today. You get what you pay for.
Flash is great and is very quick. Helped a lot recently with some weddings I had to shoot. If you have any products you would like me to review feel free to send me something!
First off I am a concert photographer. This flash works great in small to mid sized rooms. Has plenty of power to bounce a flash off a 20 ceiling no problem. 100% would buy this for any small to mid sized shoots.
Amazing little flash. Very compact compared to other full sized flashes. Power is very comparable to a full size flash, dont lose much when it comes to portraits and shots that are closer, you can tell a little difference in power when standing further away. Not clunky like other bigger flashes and is very sleek when on camera. TTL mode is a bonus and worked great on my Sony A6000. Worth the buy.
best thing I got for my Sony mirrorless. Small incospiquous and effective. I would recommend!
At 1st I thought that this was the best flash I could ask for and was ready to give it 5 stars but in less then a month one of the connection pins broke so now my camera can no longer use the TTL and can only use it manually
Love this tiny, but professional capable and looking flash. It’s a perfect match to the Sony A6000. The built in video light was a very nice bonus...thinking about getting one for my Nikon cameras for portability.
Cheap and works great compared to Sony brands which costs as much as an a6000. Theres no TTL so youll have to go the old fashion way of setting it up manually.
I used this camera out of the box for outdoor fill flash and it seemed to work fine. However, it began to act odd after a few months and I found that the TTL function stopped working. Also, the manual modes required adjusting the F-stop or Aperture because the flash was too bright. I stopped using this flash unit after three months as it is pretty useless.
If you are looking for a small travel flash that is better than the on-camera flash, this is acceptable. Do not expect it to be as powerful as a full size flash; it isn’t. Yet, for its intended purpose, it is sufficient.
