Talk about one mean flash. You wont believe how fast the recovery time is. The light box cover is pretty lame though.

It would have 5 stars but the body feels a bit cheap and not solid.
Love it, has everything that you need, a little bit heavy though and the accessories that comes with it, feels pretty cheap so dont rely on them. but very sturdy flash and the battery holds the charge very good and last you a day of photoshoot easily.
I bought this flash with the AD200 and the Sony trigger. I did a quick sunset shoot with the kids in the front yard that came out awesome. Coming from Alien Bees/conventional strobes to this is like future tech. Having high speed sync and the wireless triggers is a dream come true.
Works great with the Sony A7RIII, great images with no real fiddling with it. Im pretty old school with photography, and I just cant believe some of the advances in todays digital world. I dont think I could have bought a flash like this when I started for any amount of money.
The speedlight showed up timely and packaged well. Box and item matched the products page and was unopened and undamaged. The battery had charge and allowed for a test fire. I have not had the time to set up alongside my camera for test shots yet, but this will start as a 4 star review and I will edit this down or up if I am surprised either positively or negatively. I will update my comment as to why. If my review remains a 4 then the product performs as expected and equally has not wowed or disappointed me. All pictures uploaded are taken by myself and are of the product I purchased.
Love this thing. The recycle time and battery life are both excellent-- didnt have to change the battery once or worry about it overheating during my last wedding shoot. The UI is relatively simple so its easy to use. Only complain is that the hotshot mount feels a little cheap but as I understand it, if it breaks a replacement isnt hard to come by.
I hate to gush, but this flash is amazing! I used to use a Canon Speedlite and I had no idea there was a flash out there that was so powerful that I wouldnt have to worry about the refresh rate. I dont want to knock the Speedlite, it was a great flash, but I probably could only get 2 or 3 flashes on continuous shutter before it had to refresh. Moments were lost all the time. The Godox in comparison is a lithium battery pack. I shot a red carpet event, using the flash for 2 solid hours, and A) The flash never had to refresh with continual 4-shot bursts, and B) at the end of the night, I still had full bars on the battery meter. Unbelievable, and the price is amazing. Twice the flash for the same price of my Canon Speedlite.
I am extremely happy with this speedlight unit. Bought to replace a Sony 60M flash head that had a broken foot (since replaced). Been very versatile and Ive since expanded the wireless capabilities of the unit. The only downside of this flash is when using HSS and a high ISO and high shutter speed, there will be banding in the image. But after figuring out the limitations its easy to control. I plan on getting another unit soon for a backup.
