This flash when it in TTL mode and auto zoom mode, does not zoom properly like if you have for example 18-105 lens flash will zoom from 20mm to 35mm only and there is no way to fix it, you can reset it, take batteries out, what ever you do does not help, plus at the same setting and light condition in studio where the light is always the same(not even outside), in TTL mode it will give you different results sometime brighter sometime darker, also recycling time is not as good as brand name flashes not even close. If you want quality and consistency STICK WITH BRAND Nikon Sony, Canon , Fuji..... dont buy this c...... Thanks.

Im not real good with flashes, but once I got this to work, its been great. The little white board behind the diffuser (used by itself) when used by itself and pointed straight up, is great for fill flash and catch lights in eyes. Would recommend, but be sure youre comfortable with researching when it doesnt produce desire results. Usually a user problem at that point.

Love the Godox "X" 2.4GHz system! It has greatly improved my workflow and I have not had a single issue yet with reliability! The flash itself is also incredible, very well built and not too expensive either! Great light output, much better than my other cheap Amazon flashes! Recharge time is not bad either! 10/10 would recommend!

Ok this was way better than I thought it would be. I’ve used it for about 40 photos and everything is better than the Sony flash. The recharge time is excellent and all of the accessories I didn’t know even came with it. The build quality is good and only time will tell. I was skeptical at the price point but looking forward to using it.

Great flash. Replaced a manual flash that was only intermittently successful on my a6000 and has operated perfectly with full TTL access. Didnt cost that much more. Plan to sell the Meike TTL flash that just didnt really work for me. Build quality is good. A little stiff to turn the head but that is ok. Will update if there are any issues.

I have two of them; they work perfectly with the Godox XiT trigger. Ive used them for a year and they still work beautifully. One minor prob -- on one of the flashes, the little cardstock reflector came out, and I never could get it back in, but thats a minor annoyance. Im about ready to order a third flash. I love being able to put my flashes, stands, and softboxes in a reasonably sized bag and get studio quality shots wherever.

I was excited when this package came in, the flash is in perfect working condition and the soft box diffuser is great as well.They were properly packed up and I think the flash unit is very easy to use, my only regret is not getting the transmitter. Also for some reason, the batteries in the flash unit get really super heated when used for a while, I have no idea if this is common but... anyways I have an overall positive experience with this product.

Nothing but positive reviews here. I do notice that it does go through the battery a bit quicker than my other speed lights, but this speed light never fails me. A bit of a learning curve coming from other brands, but once you get it, this tool will become indispensable. It is a very powerful little light.

I got this flash for my Sony A6000. I brought it with me new to my Spain trip but end results is I did not use it but carry it the whole way as the first day when I try to use it, it only fires less than half of the times. After getting back from the trip, I thought I may not know how to use the flash setting. I studied the menu carefully and follow the steps to set the flash. I thought I got it and I brought it to a party. Boy, that was another mistake, I am only able to get it fired less than half of the times. not even half way through the party, I put it back to my bag. I read reviews ad only a few mentioned miss fires. Unsure if other people do not have this problem?

Camera manufacturers have changed the classic hot shoe many times over the years, but Sonys shift to the Multi-interface Shoe (for example, on the A6000, A6500, A7, A7ii, etc.), is a big change. Sony offers a couple of flash units for this shoe. But, this Godox unit is terrific, offers full automation (including TTL), and works perfectly at a very reasonable price. I also like the accessory X1T-S to control the flash off-camera (via radio signal). If using Sony, but sure the get the flash and X1T with the "S" suffix for Sony.
