Very satisfied with the camera and bundle kit. Kit is perfect for the novice who is beginning to understand photography and adapt to this powerful camera. As other reviews say the add on items in this kit are not the best but are of good quality to utilize. You can always upgrade as you go as you learn how to maximize the benefits of this came. Customer service was amazing and quickly resolved an issue i had with the included camera bag. Love this camera and the kit included!! Recommend purchasing. I did a LOT of price checking and matching and concluded for me this deal was the best for what I needed. Only other thing I purchased was extra batteries. You will Enjoy this camera!!

I dont even know where to begin on this bundle. I love the Nikon camera, well because it is Nikon and they make good quality! All the little extras that have come with the bundle have been worth it. The photo bag is large enough to hold the camera and a few things needed on the go, definitely not big enough to hold everything but that is just fine by me. The shutter release clicker so far has been the favorite feature for my kids. I set the camera up on the tripod (included in kit and a good quality) and set up a photo area and give the kids the "clicker". Such fun photos have come out of it giving the kids control. I havent even gotten into using the various lens shades, and a few other things, but have been so happy. I did have an issue with the attachment rod for the add on flash but I contacted the company and they handled everything in a timely fashion and got me a new attachment. Highly recommend this product!

This camera is great! Ive never used a DSLR but this is very easy to use. I also ordered the Nikon D3400 for dummies which has been a huge help along with the booklet that comes with the camera. The only bad reviews I read was about the quality of the stand which we have not used yet but at this price I cant complain anyways, to me its all about the camera - the rest is just a perk.

This was a gift to our son for Christmas. He is a novice photographer who insisted that he wanted a DSL style camera. After reading a lot of customer reviews all over the net this was our choice. Bear in mind, I purchased a camera for myself this Christmas also - a basic point and shoot camera (I might be even more of a novice photographer than my 11 year old son!) - and I only wish I would have taken the plunge and purchased this Nikon D3400 for myself! It is very simple to use, do not be put off by the fancy extra lenses and capabilities of this camera! Every single picture he takes looks amazing; simple silly snap shots to the more "thought out" photos. Color quality is rich and just creates beautiful photos. Also the interactivity of the smart phone app is very seamless and user friendly. I have the app on my phone, and he is able to upload all photos to an unlimited cloud very easily. I only hope he has "outgrown" this camera by next Christmas so he can upgrade and I can acquire his hand-me-down.

I HAD AN OLD NIKON CAMERA D3100 so because my ole girl ended up submerged in water, after drying out, she didn’t work like she used to. So I bought the D3400 with the same lens 70-300mm. I love how light the new camera is but I had to become accustomed to the accuracy of how the lens worked. She is faster than the old Nikon, and she is very accurate on her focus point (70-300mm). It is going to take a little time to adjust to a lightweight accurate lens. being an action photographer, I am always on the move and it takes a few shots to get it right. I am all about learning something new, any suggestions on stabilizing shots or settings to make cleaner action shots would be great!

This combination is well thought out. It is perfect for folks like me, who know a little more than the basics about photography but want to learn more and have greater technical flexibility without having to invest a lot of money. Im enjoying it and am glad I bought it. In future combos, it might be good to have a slightly bigger equipment bag, but the one included is nice.

I am just starting out with video and photography. I did a bit of research and decided the Nikon D3400 was the camera for me to start with. Now that I have had the thing for a few weeks I will say that I am thrilled with the purchase. The camera is very intuitive and user friendly, and all the extra gear I got in the bundle was such a plus. I have no buyers remorse whatsoever.

This camera is so great. The quality of the pictures continues to astound me. While many could enjoy this thing with it set on "Auto" for the life of the camera, it offers hundreds more options. So many, in fact, that I ended up doing something very embarrassing - I bought my first (and hopefully only) "For Dummies" book for this camera. Having no experience beyond point-and-shoot, I am learning so much about not only this camera, but photography in general. Sure, this is a plug for "Nikon D3400 For Dummies," but I really want to communicate the huge array of options available on this thing. Ive taken pictures that could be post cards or hung on walls with it. Nikon D3400 For Dummies That being said, my non-5 star review is based on some of the included accessories in this package. While I have not even touched a lot of the included items, I have run across a couple things that Ive noticed others have trouble with as well. The remote control doesnt work with this camera. Bower RCUNI Universal Remote Control for Canon, Nikon, Sony, Pentax, Panasonic, Olympus DSLRs (Black) The hand strap doesnt work with this camera. Ive read (in the questions section) that the Nikon ML-L3 remote works with the d3400, even though its not listed in the description. Nikon ML-L3 Wireless Remote Control Ive also been thinking Ill take a hacksaw to the hand strap. See, the threaded piece that screws into the tripod interface on the bottom of the camera is too long. Before you can get it screwed in and snugged up to the camera, it bottoms out. You cant screw it in far enough so the strap just spins around that point. Im going to try sawing off some of the threads and hope that itll tighten things up. These two items shouldnt be included in the package or they should be replaced by items tested to work with the camera. As I said, I havent even unpackaged a lot of the accessories, but these two things have stuck in my mind since I bought all of this several months ago. If you buy the camera stand-alone, you will not go wrong, in my opinion. I cant say enough about how great it is. Its a huge deal for all the stuff, but do know that not everything may work with this excellent camera if you buy the bundle.

This bundle is fantastic. Contrary to the whiners on here the tripod is excellent its very sturdy and has great plush grip on it. The camera itself is amazing, beautiful quality. I received a 32 gb memory card a wireless remote a flash the standard Nikon lens plus 2 off brand lenss that work beautifully, the bag fits EVERYTHING, plus some extras I bought separate, its thick, it has many different pockets ,you can customize the inside yourself to fit things how you see fit. I even paired my camera with an app called snap bridge its so fun and Im enjoying sending pictures I take straight to my smart phone I can share to facebook or edit all from my camera to my phone in a second. You will need to update your firmware first but the app works like a charm. The bundle arrived a day late but nothing Im gonna complain about its well worth the wait. This is an awesome value dont let people crying over petty stuff deter you from this deal. Plus I forgot all the other stuff the cleaning kit and more I just got it today and havent stopped trying everything from the second I opened it.
