I bought this camera because I previously had a Canon camera and all my equiptment will fit it but I also like the ease of handeling while Im out taking photos. If you look at the photo I have uploaded you will see a nice photo of a flower but if you zoom in you will notice a small bee on the flower. This was taken on day one of using the new camera. I would definitely say this is a worthwhile investment.
