I have owned this camera for less than a year. I had high hopes since I had worn out my Canon 50d. I definitely wanted to replace it with a Canon because I have owned five and have liked them all. Another major reason for staying with Canon is because I own six of their lenses that I highly praise. And now to the present. First problem was the shutter hanging up. Then, I could not export photos to my Mac. I was talking to my opthomologist who had the same camera and he was experiencing the same problems and more. He replaced his with a Nikon. There is a great disparity between our incomes so I have to stick with replacing mine with a Canon. I am searching for another Canon but when I read the reviews I am scared away. I am sure I will find a Canon in time and if I do experience problems let them be within the first month so I can return it.

Dont spend time on Amazon reading reviews of this camera. Go find reviews on places like Youtube from photographers you respect. It boiled down to one simple fact for me: "In my opinion, this is the best APS/C camera Canon makes." This is the best and last camera to get before going to full frame.

its a great camera, my first one needed to send back this week because the remote pins were wrong. so bought another from pixibytes. should be here tomorrow and i am ready! This arrived with no manual. Grey mkt camera

the camera is ok but i was disappointed that the canon is like an asian version cause it only has settings in japanese and english, I am from argentina and i would have expected to find all the languages as i have in all other Canon cameras i have.

The 7D Mark II is my favorite nature photography camera. Fast burst rate and tack sharpness.

Very nice camera. Everything Ive come to expect from Canon. Did not recieve the WiFi card though. Would have been nice to have a hard copy of the owners manual for reference on the run. Good camera though at reasonable price.
